Ok, here's the deal, if we have enough interest in it we will have a team trophy this year for State Teams ( up to 10 arms per team ), no charge for team entry, just put together your states best and bring it So who would be interested? Less than 2 weeks away, let's hear it.

Sorry Christina, we aren't having a Womens class, in 6 years of having this tournament we've only had women show up to 2 of them, none last year, tired of buying trophies then nothing to do with them afterwards. A few years ago we had a womens class, 1st-3rd trophies and $100 for 1st, had 2 women in the crowd that had competed before and neither of them would even get in it Even when I have several say they are coming, they don't show.

Good call mike I know it's a tough one to make trying to be fair and all but the fact is that most women's classes end up being 2 or 3 women who have never pulled up there scaring the $hit out of the rest of us. I think the women of our sport should be more vocal in trying to bring in more competition. It's one thing for a guy to tell a women about armwrestling and a completely different thing for a woman to express to another woman the reasons she is in the sport. Mike a suggestion, offer a women's class for those who do want to come and just give the entrees to the winner of the class that way you are not buying trophys to take home and women pullers who do show up with family or whatever the. See may be can still pull just my 2 cents though it might be worth even less to the West
