I am really looking forward to this one. That is one of the sickest cards I have seen. I hope John's shoulder holds up really well in this. Im eager to see how much he has recovered. Arsen definitely be the winner in this unless Hutchings can catch his hit and if they meet early an Todd catches his hit then I am not sure who will win. Going to be a great event.

On his win at the last tournament Arsen fouled out the back about 4" or more, so I hope they watch his elbow. I am interested to see how John does. I don't think he would return unless he felt he was ready so this is something to look forward to! Great lineup. Opperman seems to be getting better all the time so I will be interested to see how he does. It would not at all suprise me to see Todd win this if John is not 100% not only does he have the tools but some of the best technicians in the world for training partners

It will be Todzilla and John in the finals. Todd that is FUNNY. He sure does seem to elbow foul a lot. When he pulled Ivan Matyushenko it was really obvious. If they watch his elbow arsen will not win.

JOHN The Perfect Storm BRZENK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited to see his return and continuing domination. I hope the absolute very best for him and look forward to see him going back after those giants that he always destroys. Toddzilla will do phenomenal as well! Strong solid build will power house right through the competition.
Best of luck USA

Well, I downloaded one of the several videos Eric Wolfe posted from the recent practise in Arizona, and at some points John would move in a certain direction and say "you see, normally I'd move this way, but can't due to my shoulder", or something to that effect. So I doubt he is still fully recovered from the shoulder surgery and wouldn't have high hopes of him taking 1st place here.
The "fanboy" in me would like to see John resting more and perhaps making a comeback at Zlotty, which is several months away so he could be recovered. I just hope he doesn't slow the recovery process even more by pulling these monsters... but, I guess he knows what he's doing :-)

It could seem that there is not much that could be changed or improved in the formula of the masterly professional armwrestling tournaments. But there was! It turned out that PAL is preparing a surprise. Eight invited players of the 95g weigh class, fighting on right hand will meet in Bulgaria at the beginning of June 2012 to fight in a tournament that has never been before! PAL (Professional Armwrestling League) is preparing a tournament called Masters’ Cup ARMFIGHT - CHAMPIONS CUP. Awards for eight invited players look as follows: 1st place – 4.000 $ 2nd place – 3.000 $ 3rd place – 2.000 $ 4th place – 1.000 $ 5th-8th place – 800 $. What will the rivalry look like? The organizers combined one good with another good thing, so the ARMFIGHT system with double-elimination tournament. Eight competitor will be distributed by lot in game ladder. The fights will be held in double-elimination system. However, there will be one basic change! Which is, every clash of two players in a game ladder will be held in the ARMFIGHT system of six rounds. In case of the tie 3:3 the seventh round will be held. The looser goes through the “bottom” of the ladder, the winner goes through the “top”. The best will meet in semi-final and final. The tournaments are planned to last for two days. And if all the fights will end after six rounds we will be able to watch at least sixty fights! If there will be necessity to hold the seventh rounds in case of ties – we will be able watch even seventy fight! The list of the invited has already been prepared, but it is still PAL’s secret. However we are sure to see the world leaders of the heavy weight both from Europe and across the ocean. John Brzenk’s arrival is not conceivable. However what will be John’s role at ARMFIGHT CHAMPIONS CUP – the organizers has not revealed yet. Polish armwrestling fans May start to guess and discuss, which one of the Polish players will be invited to the elitist eight. As PAL informs, one of the Polish players will take part in the tournament. Who will that be? Perhaps the decision has already been made, but we are still waiting for your opinions! The draw for the game ladder will take place in April, in Gdynia and will be given a live account on our website. A contest for the fans to guess the draw results will be announced earlier. Join it! Further information will be announced soon.
