Also, why does the heavier man need to go down in weight?
Why not add weight to the lighter man?
Do you think they could beat Devon if they were his weight? I'd bet my last dollar that if they thought they could they would. Why be the champ in a lower division when they could be the absolute champion??? Another riddle for you.

I'm pretty sure if you can toproll someone but not hook them and win then the person you can't hook and beat has a stronger arm than you. There's more than one aspect to arm wrestling strength. Once again you're wrong. Toproll strength is just in a different area. Once you understand armwrestling you will understand this.

Yeah, Zoloev got beat by someone that wasn't 100lbs over Zoloevs weight. Toddzilla hasn't been beat by anyone less than Arsen in his trained form. I'd say that's OK for Zoloev to get beat by Toddzilla then and still have P4P. You writing this off as though Toddzilla was a normal puller. And your saying because Zoloev lost this match he cannot be P4P the strongest. Don't put words in my mouth. I consider Todzilla very elite, among the best (at any weight). I also did not say Zoloev could not be the strongest p4p, I'm showing you that it's not a black and white subject as you presented it.

You don't think if Zoloev put on 70lbs to = Devon's weight that Zoloev would not beat him? That's insane. Also, Zoloev prolly doesn't want to look deformed at his height and 240lbs. He seems to like competing at 176lbs and fighting for rankings in super weights at his current weight. And I respect that.

Devon is under 240 btw, more like 235ish. Don't exaggerate both weights. There is not 70 lbs difference between them. Make your argument without stretching "facts" because it discredits you.

Considering what we've seen out of all the top pullers. It seems quite obvious and clear to me.
Zoloev Toddzilla/Babayev are the top 3 at this point in time for P4P.
176lb puller, 187lb puller, and a 210-220lb puller. Devon is 240+lbs yes he is up there but it seems obvious to me not in the top 3.
But it is just all an opinion until they go on that show where they test athletes, can't think of the name.
Doesn't mean it's not OBVIOUS Zoloev is #1 P4P though.

And wasn't Devon 250+ when he beat Brzenk? It's not like he was 235lbs against all his opponents at rank #1.

I've learned from arguments on this board before not to keep on with an extremely closed minded person. I'm glad the last one left the board though, it's a much better place now.

Who are the Strongest pound for pound pullers in Arm wrestling today? [shadow=red,left,300][/shadowplace] Devon has proven himself, to be the #1 Right and Left handed arm wrestler right now. However, he has not proven himself to be the #1 P4P strongest. Fact. When he completely SMASHES Zoloev, Toddzilla, and Babayev...Then yeah that would prove to be #1 P4P. Due to his weight on these pullers, he would have to SMASH them convincingly in the hook. I get what your saying. However, I believe Zoloev can and would beat plenty of 250-300lb pullers. Zoloev lost to someone 30lbs or however much more than him. Ok, that's and exception considering who it was. TODDZILLA he himself is an elite P4P contender. Look at how much weight Devon has on Rustam. Do you honestly believe Devon could steam roll through Rustam's arm in a hook? Win or lose. Crush through it in such a manner as to have no competition? I'm pretty sure if you can toproll someone but not hook them and win then the person you can't hook and beat has a stronger arm than you. There's more than one aspect to arm wrestling strength. Where does this mention hooking? Where does it state the contingency of inside pulling? Did Issac private message Ryan something we are to assume? From my understanding this in no way shape or form implies soley inside power. You are purely assuming inside power is the benchmark for strength. If someone isn't strong enough to place someone in their wheelhouse they cannot be credited as the stronger puller. I of course can't expect you to understand this because I gather you haven't participated in the competitive side of what you pocess so much knowledge and expertise of.

I really enjoy how you imply Devon is reserved about hooking with someone. I also like how you ASSUME Zoleov can turn Mr. Bresnan into a hook. Arm wrestling isn't choreographed. You better be skilled enough to execute your move or be versatile enough to adapt to the direction the match goes.

John Brzenk I still consider to be the most skilled. He may not win every time now because of his age but until I see Larrat or any of the others go twenty years without a genuine challenge in every weight class my hat will always be off to John. But the topic says strongest pound for pound not the best pound for pound. I think Tim Lewis could go toe to toe with the best in his weight class and beat many of them hook style (true measure of strength). Just some thoughts from a redneck haha.

I can honestly say I did not think I'd see Tim Lewis' name in this thread.
Good on ya Tim.
Plus John did not "go without a challenge for 20 years", his legend continues to grow though.... maybe he'll have beaten superman, tarzan and batman someday too.

Brad spine should for sure be considered as strongest pound for pound. He is strong as an ox for a 140 pound dude

Some people are stronger than others. I personally hate when p4p is mentioned 95% of the time (mostly because i am a big guy and i have dealt with it forever). If the challenge was to move a 800lb boulder to prove who was the strongest guy some huge monster would move it, while all the smaller guys would watch and talk about 'p4p' to build themselves up in their heads..... i always felt that 'p4p' was brought up to discredit who the strongest person is/was.... IMO. I am not saying that i do not understand the concept of 'p4p' and how body weight and your BMI contribute to strength i just hate the way it is used 95% of the time in a conversation. IMO. Ever since i was 18 and i became a big guy (6'8 220+lbs) i always heard "if i was your height i would be in the NBA!" or "If i was your size i would bench 10000lbs!" or "You only beat me in a foot race because your STRIDE was longer!". Always after i would do something good. After losing in a race i would never say "Well i weigh more!" or after seeing someone jump higher i wouldnt say "Well he is just lighter than me" or i could keep on naming examples of how p4p is not really mentioned in endurance or speed sports as much as strength sports. IMO. Sorry i didnt mean to sound like a whiner this thread just made me think. I probably just made alot of smaller lighter guys pissed off as well, sorry about that. I am just biased through my experiences. Now if i had to choose a pound for pound strongest my vote would be either Devon or Todd not sure which. Zoloev and Rustam are complete BAD ASSES but IMO i cant see them performing the feats of strength that Todd or Devon could. IMO IMO IMO IMO RELAX THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. I just always wanted to be the guy to move the rock.
