Can John return and be back at the top?

I know he still has a way to go, but IMO if anyone should not be counted out it is John Brzenk.
I might be naive, but if John would take what some of the other pullers do the results would get shaken up.

It looks like nothing is off limits to you Jetty. First Mike and now John. You come on as a new armwrestler trying to learn and then post questions that most beginners would never think of asking, any even better you seem to know all the answers. You say you are learning but after Mike offered to train you, which most armwrestlers not only beginners would pay for, you say no to his offer. I think it is time for you either go to an event or take Mike up on his offer. Otherwise I will have to believe that you are not who you say and take action to stop the games.

John Brzenk is in many ways the GREATEST OF ALL TIME. I am a Brzenk fan to the end. Let me make a cliff notes of this, in case my syntax is misinterpreted. I am not putting him down.

- Never count him out. If anyone in the AW world can come back on top, it is John Brzenk.

- If John took what Arsen/Cyplenkov/other people took he would be close to unbeatable

- Maybe Brzenk took something. To me it is IRRELEVANT. I am also a user, and a lot in this community are. I am not putting down or demeaning the guy because he made the playing field level. I AM A JOHN BRZENK FAN.

For what it is worth, I think Jetty is probably intimidated by Mike's offer. The context in which it was given made it seem more like "I'll teach you a lesson!" than "I would be glad to train you." Please understand this is coming from someone who HAS taken Mike up on that offer and enjoyed a tremendous opportunity train with both him and Allen Fisher at Mike's home, so I mean no disrespect at all. I am simply pointing out why Jetty will probably never take that offer.

If that is not the way Michael meant it, perhaps he could correct me, as perhaps I read too much into it.

James I ten more and more to agree with that, as for the invite from Mike it may have sounded like Mike was upset but anyone that knows Mike will agree that is Jetty showed up and was sincere Mike would try to show him a few things. Jetty has made no attempt to prove who he is and doesn't seemed interested in anything but attention. So if he doesn't want to attend a tourney or train with Mike or anyone from his state because he will be working 70 hrs a week for the next year then he wont need to be a member till after the year is up. Maybe by then he will attend a turney or agree to train with someone from his state that can vouch for him.

Pretty easy solution to seeing if someone is legit or not. Most,if not all armwrestlers talk to each other personally as it is in our nature. If no one has heard of this gentleman or talked face to face with him then a copy of his drivers licence or some picture ID can be mailed to you and he can rejoin the board when it is received.

If you are implying that most of us use steroids you are dead wrong. Brzenk is great because he has dedication and passion for the sport. But it is obvious not everybody can be elite, its the name of the game. Want my opinion. Go to a tournament, get your butt kicked the first time, and keep going. I have been to four and came in alost dead last in the first two. I kept training and am now taking seconds and thirds, hoping for a first. What I am saying Jetty is this, go out there and earn some respect, you don't have to take first to get it. Just have dedication and don't post a ton of topics on stuff you hardly know. Just my opinion. Good luck at your first tournament if you genuinely have enough passion to go for it.

Hey Bill Cox-

I also live in Arkansas and have invited Jetty to practice with my guys but he refuses, plus there is no tournament in Arkansas this year. How bout you try and persuade someone to put on a tournament down here and we can see if jetty wants to put up or shut up. Im not tryin to say im the best but I know im hungry for some healthy competiton. Im currently getting ready for OK pro am and a practice tourney with chumps like jetty would help me and my guys out.

Hey Joshua, I recently heard from Nathan Seamon, the current tournament directo for Ark, that Arkansas state should be held this December. I don't think the date or venue is set yet but hopefuly we'll get atleast one
