I don't think its very interesting. It makes it another National...... SEC is Southeast, not National... Like many from afar would come. Albany is a PITA to get to, but a fun time nonetheless.

I do agree w everyone, just wasnt gonna stir up anything. Originally it was for sec pullers to pull sec pullers for rankings purposes in sec. Im for keeping it that way if my vote matters. But if not, i'll pretty much go with the flow either way. I just wanna pull

not that my vote counts but I agree with everyone, a National Championship is specifically for people of that Nation(for the most part), a Regional Championship should be for people of that region otherwise what separates it from other events?
I feel the same way about State titles but understand many feel they cannot draw enough pullers to their State championship with only in state pullers.......but IMO a little work and more building on the novice side in each state and that could change as well.
I see the reasons for opening it up if the tournament is not doing well, I dont think that is the case here.

If it's open to all, then how can the the S.E.C. ranking be based mainly on this tournament?

If it's open to all, then how can the the S.E.C. ranking be based mainly on this tournament? I mean I can't but agree.....how can I take this any other way than....... we aren't getting enough entries so let's let everyone in so we can make more $ on entry fees? first us north guys are "uninvited" now its "come on down" I didn't say this is what this is. I said how can I take it that it sound like that??? I can't

Wow....just because it's open to everyone doesn't make it a Nationals, nearly every tournament out there is open to everyone, very few restrict competitors.
