I always like watching NFL network top great whatever of all time so I was wanting to hear about the LARGEST state teams of all time. I know we talk about the single best or the best group of 5 or 10 pullers from a state back when but team or even state has had the most active pullers at one time? 1. TAA/ Tennessee has to have at least 100 pullers in it 2. ?? 3. 4. ? 5. ?? I hear from some old schools guys about large teams sometime. Any info of the past would be good to know. Could you imagine every state with a 100? Or would you want 1 Top notch puller? This State is about to erupt pullers into main stream. Very thankful to be apart of these great guys.

I probably know 40 pullers, 30 min from my house.
Then you got the 40 or so Die hard TAA pullers that have there own large group of pullers.
You do the Math. That's some arms getting down on the table.

I challenge any director to get more in state pullers to one of your tournaments than a TAA tournament. We can pick any tournament for 1000 dollars. Only thing is the money has to go back to the state or team that wins. Travel money, tables for practice whatever you can do best for your state.
Any takers or is it just about money directors?

We had over 30 from Michigan go to AAA nationals. And that's not all the active pullers.

I can't remember the last time I saw anything resembling a team at an event. Of course, Team St. Louis from 1998 to 2003 was the coolest team that ever existed. Chicks still talk about it.

My 2 cents ~ it mainly depends on how you are defining "active pullers". To me, an active puller is one that does more than show up at practice. An active puller not only competes locally, but travels to other states as well. The TAA may have 100 pullers that show up around TN for practices but you definitely don't have the most team members that travel and represent at events. The largest team in numbers that were active was Louisiana. For many years they showed up at events with tons of pullers, all wearing team shirts. And, they were definitely a "team", not just a bunch of guys that showed up at an event and happened to be from the same state. Money has been a huge factor in not having the teams that we used to. Now days, you don't see a lot of "teams" showing up at events. Yeah money is tight these days and hard to travel. Imo active means engaged in the sport. Even if there only showing up to practice. Simply people that pull on there own after they have been shown the sport. I know we don't have the traveling band, but I'm sure if we have the money like a high school football team we would all jump in that bus once a month. Only point I'm trying to make when we promote for years to just people that are already sold how can you grow? When I see a tournament with a 100 new faces that something to be proud about. Even if every "active" traveling puller showed up have we really achieved anything or grown as a sport. That's why I would like to have a friendly bet with any state that we "Tennessee" can prove we have more pullers or people come try it than any other. A utility bill stapled to the entry form would work. Then once we win our team will have gas money, hotel money to support everyone. Maybe Michigan would like to take the bet or maybe them UAL guys would want to see howmany in state guys they can get. Anyway the bet is out there. Name the price. To clarify, not the best in state the most in state.

Of course The tournament would be in your state and you could mail or even scan email entry form and utility bill to director that challenges.
Show me the money!! Get them sponsorships. Either way it's going to TN.
