Why did we haggle Tim Lewis for so long about pulling amateurs in nationals when every year Frank Hirst goes to local farm fairs and destroys new pullers year after year to be the farm fair champion...FYI these fairs are nothing like Addison where you have other actual armwrestlers.

Not sure this is the case, but I think if there's a local type tournament In the town you grew up in or essentially grew up in then any armwrestler can pull it. Most likely theyve got friend, teachers, old coworkers.. Etc that are there, And no matter how big someone is in Armwrestling today there's still more meaningful recognition on the local lvl. My feeling on it.
Also, I didn't hassle Tim about it before. These are two different situations in my mind.

If you are referring to Frank pulling at the Arms for Kids event this past weekend I will say we appreciate his support year after year. If anyone is concerned who Frank is pulling at any event then why not show up and compete against him? I appreciate all the pullers that come out to support us even though we dont draw the competition that Addison Co. draws even though we are 3 hours closer for those "real arm-wrestlers"

Funny. I brought the table. Reffed and have supported the event for many years now. Your a pro. You didn't even have to pull me. You lost to 2 farmboys. Past champs are Tim Bresnan, Allen stilkey, Ron Klemba just to name a few. Its a big event.
What's there to be confused about.

That's the point Frank....I still lose to them and you humiliate and destroy them..and last time my father went it was to knock you out of the tournament, if you had any balls you would pull real pullers in new York this weekend insead of the Brooklyn fair....btw I heard you tell people your ranked 13th in the world how did you get that by pulling farm fairs...

When I started pulling in 1987 I had to pull pros that showed up to local fairs. If anything, that let me know where I was at. And they also would teach people there the correct way to pull. Im sure Frank does the same thing. John Brzenk Has showed up at little tournaments also and pulled. Because he was there to support the the tournament. I dont see anybody jumping him. Nor should they.
