The rules at the Unified are WAF rules, slightly different from USAA rules.
The starts are the same READY....GO!
WAF/Unified rules; elbow out of the pocket is a foul.
USAA rules; elbow out of pocket and position gained, gets you a foul, elbow out of the pocket and no position gain, no foul.
Hope this helps
Thanks Mike same to you!!

Mike: I figured you would be a sure winner for your team this year, I'll be in Reno as a referee not as a puller.
I whacked my back out of shape five weeks ago and again last week, I'm hoping I can get through the refereeing part, it hell getting old.

Had another question about the rules Bill, it says "position gained", does that also mean advantage gained ? Because there is a difference

Correct, if elbow comes off the pocket or tip of elbow leaves circumference of the pocket and position or advantage is gained, "FOUL"
