I had this posted on the other forum as well. This should explain the payouts a little better. Note: Each class (Right and left) will pay out the same amount, regardless of the number of entries in the class.
OK, here is what we are going to do. We are going to pay out money for this tournament instead of trophies. Based on some input from my pullers, we are going to add all the entry fees together that are received and divide it by 8 (There are 8 classes). We will then pay 1st and 2nd out of that money. If we have more than 60 entries we will pay 3rd place as well. Example.....
There are 50 entries. 30 are first class entries @ $20 = $600. 20 are 2nd entries @ $10 = $200. That is a total of $800 entry money. Divided by 8 is $100 per class. That would go $70 for first and $30 for second place. I will make the decisions as to how it is divided up and let everyone know before the tournament begins.
Note.... This tournament will be run and reffed by volunteers just like it was last year. That way we can give out more money. The first $30 worth of entry fees will go to pay for all the copies for the entry forms/consent forms and the copies that will have to be made of all the different brackets. I am going to do everything for the tournament at no charge of course but I will not charge myself for my 2 entry fees. I wanted to put this out there so we won't have any problems with it at the tournament. Any change that can't be divided out by 8 will go to me for use of the tables, straps, chalk, etc.
Sound like a plan? The more entries we get the more we can pay out. Who thinks they can make it?

Good luck with the tourney this weekend Rick! Wish I could've made it... tell Darrell I said hello & don't hurt nobody! He is a true gentleman of the sport & a class act! God bless! I don't think he can make it either. His daughters softball team has a game. His right is all jacked up still. Going to be fun either way. Heal up my friend!

Thanks everybody for coming out today. A little bigger this year than last. Baby steps! Small in quantity but BIG on quality! The 160 right hand had 8 pullers. Just a few thoughts that stand out in my mind....
Tim Smith was THE MAN this day right handed in the 160 as we simply couldn't handle his hit. My personal props go out to Erick Szczap as he is the MOST IMPROVED ARMWRESTLER ON THE PLANET! Keep up the good work!
Jamie Fortenberry. Dominant in the 190 right hand. Been working hard and it shows.
Clint Carpenter is a new comer but it won't be long before he's taking home first place in the Pro's! This man was built for this sport.
Chad Efird (Right and left) and Jeremy Fraley (Left). Words can't explain the domination you guys showed today. In a class of your own. Enough said. See everyone at the next one. Thanks!!!!

Big Thanks to you Ric and everyone who had a part.... I think Tim Smith should be considered in the Southeast rankings 165s right-handed and agree with your props of the other pullers!
