I am not sure who received the best sportsman award from the Nationals. This is not meant as a dis to whoever that maybe. I just wanted to give a special shoutout to Craig Tullier.
Craig has made his return now to the sport recently and I, either through a foggy memory or wasn't around back in the day..my knowledge of Craig was more of Lore and Legend passed down about his actions on the table...and seeing this event...I can now say i am also impressed with actions off the table...
specifically, I was really impressed with his energy and enthusiasm for pullers that were not on his team. Many people have great sportsmanship in the sport. This comment is not to say that there were not others who do the same thing...He just stuck out for me this weekend, so I wanted to share that. It is evident dude loves the sport and the peeps in it. Great job! Being at that level calibre puller and still taking the time to cheer on others.
again. Please take this as just as it is, my opportunity to point out what I saw was impeccable energy towards others regardless of team. Great to see! But that being said, I saw many acts of sportsmanship across the days by many pullers.

I've noticed the same thing Gary. Dude's a beast on the table and a gentleman. Very refreshing to see.

. Gary it’s nice to read something that is not drama based by someone. I think it’s important for people that are doing the rt thing in the sport to be mentioned. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Craig is class. period. Craig is pretty much the OPPOSITE of what so many young pullers think they need to act like to get noticed.
Even ON the table, Craig is a gentleman. He's a pure 100% fierce competitor, but even when fired up he is a model of sportsmanship and professionalism. When the United States sends athletes around the world, Craig Tullier is the person you hope the world gets to meet.
Gary, I'm really happy to see you draw attention to someone like Craig.

I havent met Craig but Herman Stevens trains with our team now and Herman is a fierce competitor and gentleman off the table. He never lets us forget, no matter how much he spanks us, that what he does to us on the table, Craig does to him! That's plain scary power. Good to hear he's shares the same passionate, gentleman attitude Herman does. I've never been to LA but these boys make me want to visit and feel the vibe.

Herman is a great guy as well. But he had to go west. He was drawn there- the sun brought him to the edge of the ocean so that the sun could descend to nestle and rest for the night in the wondrous luxury of Herman's mustache.

CRAIG IS A EXCEPTIONAL PERSON ,HE'S A PERSON WHO CAN TEACH SOMEONE THE MEANING OF SPORTMANSHIP. I TRAIN WITH HIM HE TEACHES ME IN WAYS I NEVER CAN IMAGINE. JUST EXPLAINING THING TO MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND TO APPLY TO YOUR GAME, LIKE THE SLIGHT MOVEMENT OF YOUR HAND THE RESPECT OF YOUR OPPONENT. GO LOUISIANA ... ETC.
