This is very sad, especially rustam babayev, someone that I've looked up to ever since starting armwrestling :/
This is not fair to the guys that work hard to stay clean and to be at their very best reaching the national and world stage. I'm both happy and sad, sad that these athletes have been caught but happy that something is being done about this, I don't think steroids will ever go away but at least they are taking the right steps to punish those that choose to do them.

And most of the clean pullers are just off their cycle. It's not going away.

This isnt sad... its pathetic, i train every day working my ass off to slave for the man (uncle sam). I train so hard to compete at a high level. I get fed up by these europeans and certain individuals in our country people claim are so great! Steroids, are a drug, they are illegal, and if you need a edge to be at the top you dont belong there! People like Allen Fisher, john brzenk, those are real champions, real world champions who train there ass off, day in and day out to be at the top! Its just disappointing to see this. Congrats to those that still have their pride, who work hard, dont cheat, or cut corners, those are true champions! Just my two cents for the day!

jeff i dont think its as prevelant as you think. As a sports med major i have studied the effects of steroids, from low qual to high qual, and access to these drugs. Its expensive for a cycle, its dangerous and new regulations makes it harder to import and even more tricky to formulate and distribute here locally. Unfortunately it gets lots of attention and we thinks its more prevelant than it is. By my number i would say maybe 10% more like 5% of the AW community uses or has used in the past. But yes it is out there and regulation and control will need to be enforced and enhanced to eliminate this issue. Even the military has up'd their testing to look for steroids now. I recently had to kick out two of my troops for getting popped in a test. Education, regulation, and reform will help eliminate this issue hopefully not just in america but in europe as well! I dont see it going away anytime soon unfortunately though.

They should just have 2 separate competitions, one for steroid pullers and the other for clean pullers. Everyone will be happy 😉
