Who wins? What are your thoughts specifically on the matchup inside, outside, strap, no strap, etc?
CAN SOMEONE SET THIS MATCH UP!?!?!

Very Interesting. Craig might be just be nasty enuf to not let it go outside (think Casto). If so, Craig wins in a war. If he can't keep Mike inside, Mike should take it. Mike won't be easy to set up and he won't be short changed in the grip. Would be a good one for sure.

^ that, if it's right handed.
Craig is so fast that he may be able to control the match from the start and not give Mike the second he needs to get into position. But if it stops and becomes a war, well that will be nasty and I see it as a battle for position. As soon as one of those guys gets where he wants to be it's probably over in the next second.
Mike's hand and wrist are so crazy strong that Craig will likely want to take it inside anyway. But Mike has all the power he needs in a slow pull if he can stop the hit.
The setups will be huge for both and I don't think either wants the ref's grip. I see both of them dumping out to get in the strap- Craig to keep Mike's backpressure under control and Mike to slow Craig's hit down.
I WOULD LOVE to see this match.

I want to see Craig pull on the world stage. Not against someone that out weights him by 20 lbs. Of course that is selfish of me since I will be in Poland so of course I want to see him pull there. ;D

This match happened years ago for $1000 at the get a grip tournament, Mike won 3 - 0 if I remember correctly. Mike was the heavier man that day by 15 -20 lbs I would like to see it again with Craig heavier.

Gary, you are partly right. Craig lost 3-2. Both times he got to the straps Craig won. Mike took his hand, Craig stopped him and pulled him up with his wrist kinked back and eventually hooked Mike and beat him. The "Rubber" match, Craig couldn't get loose and Mike beat him pretty easily. Craig was about 160 then and Mike was probably around 176 or more. Back then, the setup lasted forever. Everyone was carving, bowing, posting, etc. It was who was cheating the most when they actually said go. Now, with the correct refs, you aren't going to be moving all over the place. My very first thought was Craig is 35 pounds heavier and he will win. But Mike has really learned how to win the setup. He NEVER gets a grip and gets to the straps every time. With his huge hand it will be a war. I'm not sure who I would pick.

Ok so after what happened today I don't think this is a good match up. Simon beat Mike today twice. And no disrespect to Simon and im sure he would agree that Craig would be way to much for mike right now. Craig beat Simon pretty easy at nats. At Craigs weight he is gonna have to pull guys from over seas to see where he is..... I could be wrong but I don't think so. Craig is in rare form right now.....

And wow 6 people voted that Mike would beat Craig 3-0. I will take that bet any day of the week. It won't happen. No disrespect to any pullers but Craig is out to prove a point and everyone will see soon enough...

In Mike's defense, he beat Storm Chellino last week making him #1 right handed at 198 in the country as far as I know.
Also, he's clearly #1 left handed. He's only removed from the list due to inactivity.

It's possible that Mike had a long battle with Bill Sinks due to pulling last week and Simon was there to finish.
