I was wondering who all has had this? How it effects your pulling and people's take on it. How big of an injury is it?

The surgery sucks but it was def worth it to alleviate the pain in my elbow and the numbness in my fingers. Rehab was about 6 months but have felt great ever since and that was 10 years ago.

I tore my right UCL ligament , ulner nerve damage. sometimes get tingling in pinkie finger. and left side of my palm. You do not need surgery. If you get tommy john surgery your looking at minimum of 1 year of no arm wrestling. plus you wont be the same . Ive done 2 super matches with this injury..1 being Arm wars. The only set back I would say is stamina. My strength is still there, but after a war or 2...im kinda shot, and elbow gets that "tooth ache" feeling in it. Unless your a picher, don't bother with surgery imo

I know exactly what you mean mike. When you say the powers there but stamina isn't.

I had a 7 hr back surgery, where they didn't rotate me and compressed BOTH ulnar nerves. The right side has come back almost 100%, BUT the left, which I only pull with never healed, even after ulnar nerve displacement surgery. So from the elbow down on the pinky side I have all types of nere issues from tingling, coldness, pain, etc. it's worse in the pinky and ring finger, some in the middle fingeand I can not rest my arm down on anything..what's worse is my daughter can't hold my left hand.
