The Daytona Challenge Event has advertised $10,000 in prize money to be distributed to the armwrestling event. Due to the fact that we were hired to advertise and run this event, we wanted assurance that the prize money was indeed and in fact there, so we asked for assurances.
Simply, we asked that the prize money be made available prior to the start of the event Friday, October 3. The response we received was that H and H Fitness Promotions, Inc. would distribute the prize money on Saturday evening after the contest was finished.
We requested an assurance, especially due to the events pertaining to the Vegas event surrounding the prize money, and asked that the prize money be brought to the athlete's meeting Friday, October 3 at 9am to be counted out as a show of good faith.
To date, we have received no response whatsoever!
As some of you may be aware, the NAP/Bill Collins were originally "hired" to do the event. After speaking with Bill, he had the same problems and concerns we have had regarding this event. He also was not be given any guaranteed assurance that the prize money would be paid.
This event most likely will continue. We are not encouraging anyone not to attend. We are however letting the armwrestling population know well in advance that not one single dime of prize money is guaranteed to be paid.

Christian, what are you asking when you say overall payouts for left too? King of the Hill right and left both receive awards and prizes, which include choices of cash, vehicle makeover, hotel rooms/airfare in 2014, etc etc etc Sorry, Onthe website it only talks about right overall. I did not know it applied to left hand too..I guess since the left is less $, as usual, can you find out if the overall ( king of the hill) is going to be the same as the right? Thank u

There are some specifics that aren't on the website yet. Left Hand King of the Hill receives prizes and awards too. New prizes/awards keep coming in constantly. King of the Hill Awards/Prizes AS OF RIGHT NOW Right Hand: 1st & 2nd place winners receive airfare and hotel to compete in the American Challenger Series in Feb 2014 (more information to follow regarding the Challenger Series). First place has a choice of car/truck makeover valued at $10K or a custom made armwrestling table by Cory Miller. Second place receives whichever prize is not taken by the first place winner. Left Hand: 1st place winner receives airfare and hotel to compete in the American Challenger Series in Feb 2014 (more information to follow regarding the Challenger Series), the new A.R.M. (thearmtrainer.com), a pair of Gulley Grips (gulleygrip.com) and more to come. R U kidding? WTF? Karl u can have this one...

R U kidding? WTF? Karl u can have this one... Christian ~ proven fact - you can't please or cater to everyone. Left hand NEVER has the same amount of entries as right. Left hand NEVER draws the attention or acclaim that right does. Whether any of us agree with it or like it doesn't matter - it's a fact. Nothing ever grows without participation and you cannot expect the same prizes/awards to be given to left as is given to right. As well as it's not the fault of organizers and/or promoters that YOU do not compete right hand. Instead of complaining and bitching from the very beginning about an event, why not try to do something different for a change. Try supporting an event and possibly show organizers that it might be beneficial to look at increasing awards for the next time. This is going to be a great event with nothing but room for growth in the future. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is anything else in life worth having. We all have to start somewhere with a basic and strong foundation and that's where we're starting for the first Daytona Challenge Armwrestling Championship. Promoters r just saving $ FACT BEST IN THE WORLD PULL LEFT......AND MORE WOULD SHOW IF PAYOUTS WERE THE SAME AND U KNOW THAT, FACT And it NEVER will with the way payouts go, FACT..$700 to $250, for firsts etc.. And "king of the hills",,, Really a Gulley thick bar? ? JESUS CHRIST.. seriously? Its a slap in the face... Look at World BAR $10k- $5k for first a class or supers $20k-$5k But maybe one day it will, we will be long gone... See u guys another time

Ok Christain not all promoters save money.... and I do agree some what with you Christain. We all need to look at how left and right are so different across the board. But I will say that most of the top notch or elite pullers will pull both left and right. Unless there is an injury to one or the other. And also why can't we do early weigh in on Friday morning. I know the competition starts at 10. But because this is not normal days that armwrestling events take place I think we should open up the weigh in Friday morning early. I will do them if need be. Just a thought. Also it's already going to be hard enough for alot of the pullers to get here because of the weigh in day and the pulling days. So lets try and help out. This is going to be an awesome event. so Christain you and the guys come on out and compete and lets have an awesome time. You will get to see me Christain..... LOL
