Just for clarification, Craig Tullier (the guy announcing about the tournament at Contraband), is no longer hosting this tournament. The gentleman putting on the Muddy Mayhem event made promises that he did not hold up on his end, so Craig as well as the other armwrestlers from our team decided we wouldn't host the event with him. Leonard is now hosting this event. Nothing against Leonard because he was unaware of the situation before entering into an agreement with the gentleman putting on the event, but the southern slammers will not make this event. Like I said, it is nothing again Leonard, but rather because of the wrong done to us by the event owner. Hope everyone the best on this tournament

Hope everyone the best on this tournament I know this event has a rocky start but not coming because of that isn't the solution either. For what ever reason there was not a meeting of the minds and the set up fell apart and we were asked to come in. Now if you don't come you are not hurting the local guy but hurting Denise and myself. I would hope that your team would come anyway just like I would if the situation was reversed.

I will not attend. And I will not help promote this event.
Leonard. It would be in your best interest to stop promoting small events that are hostile" to other local promoters events.
The fact that you know now the complications of this event you should do the honorable thing and cancel this event.
Collaborate with craig on a new event in the area if you must. But going further with this event with this venue is disrespectful to this team and to craig, a legend of the sport.
What damage is done here is to the respect this team has for you and your organization. You will have done this to yourself.
I urge you to reconsider.... you will not have team louisianas support.

So Ryan enlighten me on how this event is hostile to other events? The difference between what you would do and our association, is simple, we have contracts. I have signed a contract laying out what I would do and what the event site will do. I cannot break that contract. There is no disrespect to Craig or anyone from Louisiana. This was a simple misunderstanding that couldn't get resolved and now somehow I am to blame? That was not my fault and you have no business blaming me or USAA for it. Denise called Craig and explained what happened and he didn't express any anger to her. We would be happy to work with Craig on this event is he so wishes, I or Denise will contact him about that, thanks for the idea. LH

I just have a question, why are the women in the banner announcement gripped like that? I can't arm wrestle with that kind of grip.

I didn't say he was angry. I don't speak for other people. I simply started my opinion that I felt it was disrespectful.
Personally I make contracts with my events. I understand if contracts and lack of are the issue here.
If that's the case.... I don't hold it against you or the usaa other than you should have the respect of contacting the local promoters when pushing new events.
But I do hold it against the host. That man has disrespected your base... you should be able to acknowledge that at minimum.

I guess that's a no on the grip and hit at women. I have to wait on my bone scan results to get cleared to lift weights and arm wrestle. I hate to miss it.
