I have been talking to several ladies who are interested in a round robin. Seems like the beginning of April next year works best for most. I would like to have the best ladies in the nation go to battle to see who comes out on top! I think two weight classes left and right should be able to fill a nice round robin bracket.

My initial thought is having it close to the Nashville area for a couple reasons, TAA can promote the event locally and fill an amateur women's class fairly easily like we have proven over and over again the past few months. We have averaged 20-25 entries in the ladies class over the past 4-5 events. This gives the local ladies an opportunity to see and learn from the best, when they aren't yet comfortable to travel but are interested in the sport.
Some of the ladies around here with a year or less in the sport:
Macy Armstrong has recently proven she is contender left and right
Kayla Janes is really close to Macy left and right beating all locals RH
Brenda Taylor is over Kayla left handed on a regular basis
Tracy Fann is a beast all the way around
Taylor Jordan, Tracy's daughter hasn't had any LW competition
I can see being able to support a ladies only tournament with the RR as the main event. It would also work well in conjunction with a traditional larger event. I also would not be opposed if someone with more funds and resources took over the idea and ran with it if it meant it would better the sport of Women's arm wrestling.
If I host the event pre-registration would be a must, with a small non refundable deposit to guarantee your spot and help us ensure the ladies will show. I would say at least 6 in the class but no more than 12 ladies, invitation only but I wouldn't want to miss anyone interested in competing either.
Your thoughts?? This needs to happen, whether I do it or someone else.
