They will be opening an office in Nevada soon with Cobra Rhodes as their representative . With the power and money behind PAL and the contacts that Cobra has this should be well received here in the USA. Good Luck Cobra.

I'm definitely waiting to see what details will be released about this, seems very exciting along with the UAL, so much opportunity in the sport now, it's great

Choice is good... BUT, it just sucks that you now have to feel like you're picking sides. Trash will be talked. Haters will hate. I just hope both can co-exist without it getting ugly.

Choice is good... BUT, it just sucks that you now have to feel like you're picking sides. Trash will be talked. Haters will hate. I just hope both can co-exist without it getting ugly. There are no sides. Only companies competing for clients. Nobody under contract to UAL is an employee. They are 1099, which is IRS code for an independant contractor. In the eyes of the IRS, when you sign with UAL you become a sole proprietorship self-employed business. The contract is a business agreement between two companies, legally. Your "income" is an expense to the UAL and is deductible to them. You as a 1099 count your winnings or payments as income and will be taxed under business income. (all of which makes perfect sense, by the way.) It will be very interesting to see how PAL approaches things. I expect their approach will be based on their business model and what is advantageous to that model, just as UAL did. As for pullers, may the best offer or least-restrictive contract win. That's business. As a fan of the sport, I sincerely hope that PAL and UAL enter into a joint competitive arrangement so that PAL athletes and UAL athletes aren't isolated from one another. I would love to see an NFC / AFC type rivalry rather than distince and separate armwrestling circuits like Pride and UFC, etc.

This is exciting for sure..PAL is huge and always have the worlds best pullers,I think this is only the beginning of things to come. Im still up in arms and don't like the take over of ual myself. But it will lead to better things soon...I see a lot of separation here for the pullers, and that is NEVER good. Just try and think about putting on an Event now, who can you invite?? who Can come even?? because of some idiotic power move on a single organization...makes it very hard..
Is this the last Awesome Armwars going on today?? because all the pullers will then sign to be a ual person?? I hope not..
I cant wait to start a league now...

U really think a hand ful of Pullers r really going to affect other meets, even local ones? COME ON..So you want to do another "Showdown"? What u think u can't invite JB or MT or Ron B, or Todd H?...Really? How do u know they can't get invites and compete? U do NOT knowe whats in their contracts, or for any others, for that matter. And r they the only pullers in the world to draw attention? COME ON, give it a rest...
