Jake went undefeated. Almost a rumble because Jake threw Bishop's hat in the crowd..LOL

great match up! although jake...no sweet talk at the end. lets build up a rematch friends!! ha ha!! great show justin and jake.... I enjoyed the heat!!!!! congrats on your win Jake, you earned it, you definitely showed improvement on your endurance..on match three you even looked like you had lost hand control and was still able to turn it inside...even while being too stretched out. props.

Its all about the setup!!! Justin should have bitched more (like jake did) to get what he wanted. Jake set up on his thumb and was carved way in every match. From what I can see Bill lets you get away with a lot on the setup.

Good job Jake..I didn't get to see the matches but was on phone with Marrocco and he said you just looked to strong.. Sucks you win and people want to talk about set up or your opponent was tired, suggesting that's the only reason you won..Bishop seems to be a beast right now so you winning undefeated big props..

So I'm not understood.
I didn't suggest that the setup was the only reason he won but it was a factor. That is a compliment, not derogatory. Table IQ is very important and it's nice to see someone so dominant in one area.

A set grip should be WAY more technical than just watching the pullers hands and wrist, the elbow placement determines alot too..for example look at Jakes elbow. Its all the way in the front of the pad which strategically places his thumb in a lower position causing Justin to settle for, in my opinion , a ridiculous disadvantage.

It's the job of each puller to try to Get what they want up there Jake did a great job setting up! The objective is to try to Get Yours on setting up Jakes hook was impressive

Call it comical, I call it cheating You can call it ma$terbating for all I care. Last I checked you're allowed to use the whole elbow pad. Even on a set grip
