We are happy to announce that for the Main Event at UAL 6 on Jan 11th 2014 Marcio "The Phenom" Barboza will face Richard "Leviathan" Lupkes!
We will also be making a Armed & Dangerous series for this Match up as well as the Co-Main event which includes Brent Rakers vs Rob Vigeant! These should be exciting!

Well here it is ... The Marcio / Lupkes match is better for the viewer and AW enthusiast . I think you will see all the facets of armwrestling covered . I see Marcio winning this, but he might get into Richards wheelhouse once or twice to crack the code. Marcios versatility tips my scale in his favor. Marcio can pull all angles and do so powerfully and explosively, so with that I think once "go" is fired it won't be more than a match or so before we see the adjustment creep. I'm saying Marcio 3-1 or 3-2... If he is firing on all cylinders I say 3-0 as I believe a healthy strong Marcio could give Richard a fit inside too... But that's just my take.
Me and Brent... Nobody wants to point to the outfield... They are scared to not hit the homerun . I see everyone talk their minds but on camera and on any social media they clamp up and get real humble ... Which is baloney ... None of them want to risk their predictions and their over confidence being immortalized and having it come back year after year forever...losing hurts enough but who needs the extra salt of saying how you will smash it then getting busted ?.... Ugh ..,
I , on the other hand like to swing for the fences... But won't get descriptive... I have tried to envision the matches and me losing... I can't find the scenario... The matches will dictate where who stands , but I see it being decisive Me all day !

For the rest of the matches...
All kinds of eager to see sinks/bongard... Bongard has a crazy arm, but bill is relentless and sooo good in the straps... Once he cracks the nut he is gonna be a bad day. Given the 5 round format and the style/strength differences I think this could be the best match up. Because of my seeing bill do his thing since my first tournament... I can't bet against him
Clark/vaz... I have obvious interest in this as it's my competition. Never pulled vaz and haven't pulled Ryan since '08. From video it seems evenly matched... I think attitude, aggression and exp. in a pressure match will be a factor and Ryan is a beast in this dept., so he gets my nod
Chandler/bath... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't really pulling for bath, he's been one of my favorites since I found AWing on google. If he is healthy he has the tools to take Chris where john does... Regardless of Chris' obvious power I see Ron controlling right from go.
Jamie/Corey... I think everyone outside of Cali. Is feeling the same about Corey dominating. That's a fantastic position for Jamie... He has an opportunity to become the man in one match up and if he loses he doesn't lose any credibility. Corey has got himself such a rep built that you don't have to beat him to get a level of success but you can get there by how fast you didn't get pinned. I like Jamie... Pulling for him, opportunity is there, hard for me to bet against Corey today. Girls... Don't know enough about Tamara's comp., so I'd be shooting blanks, but Tamara is diesel and I'd be surprised to see her not lock it up

Rob, we point to the fence everytime. That's the way it's done.

Rob you really have some great writing skills and people seem to enjoy Rob's perspective. I really think you a missing your calling as a writer. Seriously, its good. After I beat you 3-0 you should talk to Robert about getting a reporting job for the UAL. Maybe even broadcasting once it blows up! Looking forward to this one, its been a long time coming!!

It has been a long time. It'll be fun for sure. Stay healthy and strong, I want the best Brent Rakers ever to show up to this event

Due to the FCC's regulation of foul language on mainstream television, I'm afraid Rob won't make the cut for the broadcast booth. :-P
Jk, bruh.

I actually have a Grammy thatd kick my hiney in if I used any vulgar language. It's funny how I could switch up my speech from job site BSing to dinner time talking without one slip up.
Then again that job proposal was conditional on me taking an a$$ kickin... Don't hold your breath guys

Ill give my predictions too. I agree with Rob mostly.
Marcio vs. Lupkes - I'm assuming Marcio will come in at his best, I could see him taking Lupkes hand, if he doesn't i think Lupkes power is too much... Ill give Lupkes the edge but am excited to see this one, don't think they've ever pulled and I think it'll be close.
Rakers vs RVJ - haven't seen Brent pull too much this past year but I think this'll prolly be close but give the edge to Rob wherever it goes I guess... I'm cheering for Brent. :
Bongard vs Sinks - super hard to say because Bongard hasn't competed since 08. If Bongard gets him inside ill give him the edge. I'll give the edge to Sinks 2-1, I think they'll be wars.
Vaz vs Clark - I don't think Clark will be able to beat Mike's hand but they'll slip and Ryan is really good in straps. Ill gave him the edge there. Close though.
Jamie and Corey - Corey convincingly. Jamie is good and deserves a shot but IMO is a huge underdog.
Chandler vs Bath - rematch from last yr. chandler got him inside last yr and won. I say if he gets him inside again he's the favorite. I agree totally with RVJ that Ron will win if he gets Chris into the position John gets Chris. Overall I guess I go Chris but this one I'm really excited for.
Smart vs Mitts - I honestly think this will be brutal. It could be the best match. I saw both of them pull Erika Andersson and both matches were great. Ill take Smart in a war. Can't wait for this one.
