I will give equal praise... But given the examples of top guys getting smoked out just like other org. Guys getting busted at waf... One is not better than the other... It is another org... Another event... That's it. If there weren't a ton of examples contradicting their being above all... Then you'd have a point. I respect your view and opinion, but to me it is no better overall... Just another top event.

I always love when people debate their own opinion as if it was fact.

I love when guys critique the way people argue/debate without adding an actual opinion on the topic.

A supermatch is the highest form of AW. It has it's limitations, and tournaments have their place. Like test match cricket vs a bunch of T20 matches back-to-back. Sometimes you can't really cross compare specialists in either.
But unity? How about we get the sports portfolio committee to recognize armwrestling as a sport first of all? Complained about a tournament format once, the response was: "We're trying to fall in line with WAF"....lol O-K, a-r-i-g-a-t-o, M-r R-o-b-o-t-o *bzzt-pssht*

Cynics are always welcome to wave their prosthetics around to clear the air, Chris. Where are your manners?

Manners are for southern preachers and full of sh*t politicians. This is a discussion board regarding a stength sport, not a church.

I don't know what this has to do with so called Unity but In my observation tournament armwrestlers do just fine in supermatches but super match specialists don't do so well in tournaments so logic says that tournaments are harder to win and gives a better assessment of quality. Of course none of this applies to John B.

That sir is your implied logic (or more accurately as you stated "observation"), not actual logic. This may make Bob Brown angry again, he hates it when people do stuff like that

I still think its harder to win a class of 20 of the best in the world than a super match. But the super matches are put together for the one on one for spectators and by match ups. Seeing 2 bad asses go against one another without the tournament style is awesome. There is none of the getting wore out pulling this guy thing.

There has never been a class with 20 of the worlds best in it.

Probably not. But the other countries send their best.

How many countries at WAF worlds do not have their best there in each class? I know the US and probably Canada are 2, but who else?

That's probably the only 2.

I'm curious who the super match specialists are ...and their lacking tournament success.
It's hilarious that you think a class is harder to win than a match... Hello ?!!... It all depends on your opponent... Am I the only one who gets it ?.... Put me in a class of 100 average pullers and in one lowly match with brzenk or voevoda... Or whoever. Is it still easier to win the match ?... I mean it's a 100 man class after all. It depends on the quality of the arm wrestlers involved.
I'll say this... I have been in some pretty thick events and pulled many WAF champs and medalists along the way... Throughout all weight classes. Never has an event taxed me like my match with Marcio . Think... In an event you get a small number of bada$$ draws... You either win or go to losers bracket, but you aren't drawing WAF gold every time . I pulled Marcio 7 matches... And really like 15 with fouls and straps.... I got the highest quality.... Many time waf gold...EVERY single round.... I had to beat or try to handle the very highest quality EVERY round.... That NEVER happens in an event. 7 rounds with a Marcio, john , Chaffee... Etc. is much harder than a waf because you are getting the champ every time... No byes... Less rest... And a more polished guy every bit if not more prone to cracking your code than you are to cracking his..., In my experience this was hardest for me... Sliding into finals depending on draws happens in the deepest classes.
