Are there any women that pulled left handed through the years? It seems the women get left out of these polls most of the time Eric.

Thanks John.
Robin - I'm actually near finalizing a chronology of the top women through history (right arm) from 1964 to present. As for the left hand, I may develop a list eventually. It's important to note that these aren't "polls". Each of the articles I write are based on many hours of research and analysis, and there are many more things that I want to write about. I encourage anyone interested in a particular area of armwrestling history to do some exploration. I may be able to help direct to relevant sources of information.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
John C.: Al Turner was a very impressive puller. He could do crazy stuff like hold a one-arm chin-up at a 90 degree angle, while also holding a 75-lb dumbbell in his left hand! We'll eventually get a profile/biography up on Armwrestlers Only.
Derek: I won my weight class in the Visegrip Viking Challenge Grip Contest (under 198 lbs). It was a fun experience!

John Cervantes: If you do a search, you may find a thread were a man (I forgot his name right now) who was friends with Al Turner, took photographs of a scrapbook kept by Al's wife, and posted dozens and dozens of pictures and newspaper articles of Al's that had been collected throughout the years (or what seemed like a lifetime!). Personally I really enjoyed each and every picture posted there, and the thread got like 15 pages long with more and more info. It was a golden thread with enough info to make a HUGE bio with pics and info on Mr. Turner. Just thought I'd suggest trying to find this thread, should be buried in this forum somewhere.
If I may make a random comment.... it seems at NO point whatsoever was Dennis Cyplenkov considered the #1 leftie on the planet, up to date!? That is quite surprising to me. Maybe I am mistaken and need my facts straightened... but was he not considered the top Leftie, at least for a little while???

Denis Cyplenkov has been, and still is, considered by many as the best left-handed puller on the planet. However, going by rankings protocols, he has not yet earned the top spot by either beating the #1 ranked guy or by winning an event in which the #1 guy was competing.
In late 2009, Engin moved Denis into the top spot in the World Rankings. Denis really did seem to be the top guy at that point in time, but he hadn't beaten Travis yet, and Travis hadn't lost an event.
