I'm watching the ArmTV footage now.. I like it The individual stages are cool. The hot dancing girls are bad ass. The camera work is spot on. The venue is perfect. The dancers are hot!
Looks like they are using UAL style griping where puller closes his own hand on ref grip.
Reffing is good..
What are the comments from those that were there?

Some of the deepest, most talented classes I've ever seen. Big props to all who placed well.

The event was crazy good. I talked with a lot of the guys there and nobody seemed to care much for ref grip starts and after watching the videos it wasn't saving much time.

IMO the set grip starts are garbage. Terrible idea. Options to go straight to strap or refs grip (if both agree) is the answer.

Event was pretty bada$$, like Brian said the set grip starts didnt appeal to many. Every class had a stacked class of pullers. Was pretty impressive.

Also liked when they took a break before the final four I think it was and they let anyone there go up and grab the mic and call out anyone in the place for $20 to the winner.

It was awesome. Some of the best wars I've ever seen. Bowling vs nelson left arm was great. Isn't the Nal grip just like the waf grip?

No it is not, the waf grip is the traditional grip with 30 seconds time limit. Also when in a WAF referees grip any movement is a foul where this "referees grip" giving you a warning if you moved. No criticism just stating the differences.
