The MGC is only one week away! That means if you really really really can't make it...you can see the live stream of the tourney at www.mgc.inthehook.comor click on the Mike Gould Classic logo at www.inthehook.comor go to www.justin.tv/inthehookliveAnd if you want to chat alongside the streaming video, you'll have to go to justin.tv and create a username. It's free and quick to do. Also, based on past experience, unless you want people to continually ask who you are, get a username that people will recognize you by. I suggest your actual name LOL. Saturday is the amateur portion along with kids and supermatches. The pros pull on Sunday.

Jerry seemingly forgot to mention Canada's favourite announcer will be calling the action for you once again. We'll have a wireless mic tuned right into the live feed this year as well so it will be easier to follow the action. Sometimes the commentary is lost due to background noises, not this year.. we'll be giving it straight to you.
Tune in Saturday for the Supermatches and to catch some of the amateur action. Sunday is the day for the pro's though and you won't want to miss it. We've got international competitors from across the globe once again, many of Canada's best and of course the one and only John Brzenk will be all up in the hizzle. Mr. UAL Robert Drenk will be in attendance and beside Mr. Brzenk another UAL World Champion (and crowd favourite) Rob Vigeant Junior will be wrecking crap as well.
This will likely be the final Mike Gould Classic so don't miss it. Can Crazy George do it one more time? Can Allen Ford defend his title in the hotly contested 198 class? Will this be the year The Grippler Ian Carnegie finally takes over Canada?
I'm excited already. F'n right.

I only pray that you run an actual bracket this time... For heavens sake !!! People getting byes after first round is nuts, but 4 rounds deep and byes in the losers bracket is insanity !!!

Got a little pre event busy brain going on. Hmm... I'm backing George. I have finally become a legit believer. I love to watch gobby left and good sell right. 98 will be a tough class for ford to repeat. Given the guys I heard are gonna show, he could have trouble and if Clark makes that class he has a winning record and mental edge in my opinion.. As always... Draws,draws,draws... But as the rumor mill churns... It will be a tough( not impossible folks) class for ford to win if it plays like it's supposed to.- Left... Ballinger if he shows... Based on WAL at least. 220... I'd bet a pretty penny revelstoke doesn't repeat either hand. Now, who could show... I'm not sure... Will Doug Allen, Matt mask or chandler show and squeeze into that class ?... Brzenk is a heavy favorite both, but I see the possible upsets in that class. Supers, I'm saying a big americano both hands... Which one depends on the the day .

Keep an eye on The *Doush Bag* Kid 76's. Yes George is king, but 2nd is up for grabs! 19 year old that can hit 65's and has a bright future!
For all you spell checkers out there, I know but had to to get it by the Political Correctness screen!

he's WAY too big and way too good to be cutting weight at this age.... especially down to 165.
He's a threat in any class really. With a hit like his and his flawless pulling he'll just keep getting better and better.
Carnegie is going to beat TBag

And I don't care who shows up... NOBODY and I mean NOBODY is going to out dance The Grippler if he decides to get his swerve on.

... Better yet... Nobody can withstand the foot pad pain that would come from jammin in flip flops for 6 hrs straight.
We should start a pool... Ian's weight day of event... Then weigh him at 2am or so after he burns 2 gallons of water and 10s of thousands of calories... Closest in total weight loss gets the prize !!
I feel that myself and mike bowling were way on par with the gripper at last MGC.... Only problem is it was the night before and we were the only 2 homos having at it like hammer time back up dancers. Wicked fun night.... Painful morning and event. I'll hold my load this year and party AFTER I have reason to celebrate. For a seasoned vet in the party rock anthem... I make rookie mistakes on the regular
