Sorry for all of the threads, but I have come across a problem. Many people have told me to customize my workouts to fit my armwrestling technique, which for me is most often than not the top roll. Which exercises are best suited to strengthen this area that I could do when I hit the gym?

Mark you've never done a calf raise in your life, your wrists are bigger then your ankles...FACT...scariest thing I've ever seen--from the waist down Mark Vieira looks like a 6 yr old boy

Which exercises are best suited to strengthen this area that I could do when I hit the gym? You need to practice with experienced Armwrestlers on the table. They will beat you, but you will find out quickly where you need to get stronger. The answers to your questions will become clear with each practice. There is no such thing as lifting your way to an armwrestling championship. Lifting is important but it is supplemental to actual table time. As you progress in the sport you will get more improvement from being stronger. But until you are proficient on the table lifting isn't the answer. I'm not saying not to lift- but don't confuse it as a replacement for actual table time.

If u are working out for the top roll I would say to try flipping weights and catching them with your hands and every workout you do make sure it's working it hand and wrist make sure your wrest is not flopped back keep it curved in every workout pull ups with your wrest turned in that's a good start.and work out your back pressure with your wrest up

After hearing this over and over again (old people like to repeat themselves), I measured. He was right. Not even close. But I can walk and run, so my legs serve their intended purpose.

But flipping the plates looks cool, does nothing for AWing except marginally work your hand. I don't agree with the bent wrist work or never letting it go backwards at all... I believe range is necessary

For toproll check out the rise/cup/rotate vids. As easy as some guys make it look, you have to put in time/work with someone who actually knows how to top correctly, (any variation) and of course build the strength to be able to execute the tecnique.
