i am somewhat new to all of this, I have been watching the amc show and i wanted to know what it would take to get on that show? i have been watching some youtube videos and i have studied alot of the greats. I actually just watched Cory Miller this last weekend and got a tremendous amount of knowledge. I work out at a gym and i dont have a table but i plan on making a few phone calls. Hope to meet some of you local guys soon. Thanks for the add on by the way. im hoping to do well at this after seeing it on tv my girlfreind has been asking me to do it as a career and not just for fun like i always have. I got a pretty good amount of wins at the pool hall.

The show is just a show. It is nothing at all like any tournament you will go to.

Heck dont worry just about the bigger guy's, I out weighed Tommy Russell by 50 pounds and he took me to school.

i had a feeling it was all for tv. I knew there was no way the guys that weighed that much were losing. I have never been much on weight difference. I was able to almost beat a world champion at the pool hall a few weeks ago. I have always been strong.

The matches themselves and the personal histories are real. But the venues and $ are for the show. Ethan Fritsche, a top-notch lightweight pro, can beat probably most any non-pro man alive, regardless of weight. His win over Turbo was real. And no shame for Turbo on that loss!

The matches are real. What you are seeing is that size is not the best indicator of who the better puller is. Hit some tournaments. Like every person who ever came to this sport, be prepared to throw away your assumptions and your ego.

Did you attend the practice at UAL headquarters? The one with Corey Miller?

^^^ I'd say the $10 you spent on gas and the bottle of wine I'm assuming you bought from your new sponsor was a better bang for your buck if you want to get technical .... You did buy the wine right ?... You didn't just go in there and shake them down for money did you ?... That would've a very classless image you would cast upon the community buddy boy.
