It feels like the sport is dying in Oregon. I see all the new members joining. I read about all the interest and momentum the sport is gaining. Still I can't help but feel armwrestling has a grim future in Oregon. There is one promoter left in the Pacific northwest. Oregon has two events left Oregon state and Williams. Losing the US Open was a big blow. Interest is at an all time low it seems. He'll I think you'd be hard pressed to raise practice numbers if you were giving away money. The sport has so much talent, activity, and momentum right now. I wonder if the sport will ever grow in Oregon. All the great talent we house and no one is even ranked. Another nail in the coffin for Oregon. Armwrestling in Oregon welcome to the dying breed.

As a Oregon puller let me chime in on this. Alot of us pullers in these parts have fallen on "HARD TIMES" in the last year or so due to jobs (being lost), injuries, pullers relocating to different states, etc..... So we've taken a hit. Life gets in the way at times, it just all happened at the same time with alot of us. Some of us pullers are getting back to it, it's only a matter of time.
