Likewise some people believe pretending to be an expert on something one has little to no experience in is disrespectful. But that doesn't deter many novice from coming on an Armwrestling forum and telling the World how it is in their limited experience. You know what your intention was with the picture so stick to your guns and don't blow smoke when someone reacts negatively to it. I don't refer to myself as an armwrestler, never have. Work hard and make yourself a student of the sport. I do think it's important that newcomers may feel welcome to comment and participate, whether they're repetitious, annoying, type in 3rd grade English like Tim, or they're just plain quirky. There are pullers with 23 years on the arm yet their knowledge is but rudimentary, and they have no time to listen to the opinions or pleas of younger athletes. When Todd Hutchings was interviewed on AWNR he said the "little trolls" are chasing away the vets and it's no longer fun to comment on the board. It's a pity he took it that way, because some of his posts were gold. I certainly would refrain from all forms of commentary if it chased vets away from the board, but it seems Tim's quota has tripled since we started corresponding and that's nothing but a positive boon, a blessing even. Aren't we just a happy armwrestling family? Tim's the old grumpy guy in the corner who keeps cursing because he hasn't got enough butter and salsa on his sauteed raccoon's ass on a stick. Tim, everyone I talk to about armwrestling knows that I hold you in very high regard and I'm always praising you. I have a lot of respect for you, maybe the words don't come out right. But if you have a Skype account, please PM me: I know sign language.

See here is where you miss the mark again. Nobody said you must be an active arm wrestler to participate. But when people are relatively new they should be humble in their approach. There is a definite difference between asking and telling. From your posts it's obvious that your remarks will garnish controversy. You also project a narcissistic attitude that you are a scholar of all subjects. Again this is not going to set well with a percentage of people. I will tell you there has been an attrition rate with valuable insight directly correlating from trolls and disrespect.

Oh and as far as your obsession with Tim B, hopefully you know something I don't. Because those of us that have had the honor of meeting him will tell you when you stand in front of him good judgment tells you this is the kind of man I shouldn't F with. Mr. Bresnan doesn't need to humor you or anyone else. Why you ask? Because he's already a lifetime member in good standings. Why? Because he paid his D@Mnemonic dues.

when you stand in front of him good judgment tells you this is the kind of man I shouldn't F with. Well, my good judgement tells me I shouldn't stand in front of Tim Bresnan.
