With team categories and challenges becoming more and more popular. What does everyone think about teams competing that aren't real teams? I don't mind grouping people up and making it a team thing, it does make it more exciting when you have more people to cheer for or against. But I would also like to see a real team tournament to see what some of the best teams in North America are.

I'm not a fan of of the "fake" teams. It would be a lot more exciting to watch actual teams compete. Although perhaps a bit difficult to police, there should be at least some sort eligibility requirement. Geographical limitations could be a possible option (e.g. competitors must be from the same state/area).

A legitimate Ontario VS Nova Scotia battle could be awesome. Lots of good matches there!

State or teams seems to be the way to go. WAL had Dave Chaffee, Doug Allen, Craig Tullier, and Geoff Hale on the winning team. Second place was Nick Zinna, Steven Green, Chase Stratton, Ethan Fritsche. They're all from Missouri at least, although Chase doesn't get to come and practice with us that often. Having all of those monsters on one team makes it crazy, but things are still in the beginning stage with teams. At least things are progressing forward.

To me Teams are TEams and I like the Idea, forming a team from surrounding areas/states is a must for some of us, we are just to thin to have the numbers. Lots of the big cities can build a better team with in state guys, but when some of the cities dwarf our entire states population I'm gonna do what I gotta do to make my team solid.

We try to practice together as much as we can but we are spread sooo far apart that its impossible to make happen on a regular basis. I'm not talkin 20-30min , I'm talking about 1-4hrs apart one direction. but we do our best.

Personally, I am not a fan of arm wrestling team competitions at all because it's not real. Game of Arms created this generic concept for TV purposes. Not sure why some feel like they should follow suit. But, whatever.
