I entered an arm wrestling tournament this past weekend. I haven't pulled in 30 years but did a fair number of tournaments in the early 80s. I was surprised with the way the tournament was conducted. In the past all the tournaments I entered would run though everybody in the lowest weight class, then they would go to the next higher weight class and run through everybody there and so on so forth all the way up through the super heavies. After everybody got a chance to pull in each class, then they would go back down the the lightest class and repeat the process. At this weekends tournament, they had each class keep pulling until they got down to the final four before going on to the next class. In my class you had to pull over and over with only a couple minutes between bouts then you had to wait around cooling down, for a long period before they got back to that class. I'm just curious if this is considered "normal" nowadays?
By the way, I have only been training for one month and would have gotten beat regardless of the way things were done as there was one multiple national champ in my class along with the current state champ and another dude that not only beat those two beasts, but he also easily toppled over everybody else he faced in multiple wight classes too.

Tim B again. Whewn I first started they ran 1 round in each class but soon after thay started running whole class out to final 4 kinda tests you don't it? I kinda like 1 round in each class gives you time to recovee from tough match!
