We need a regional tourney to establish the rankings. Matbe we can hold the tourneys and it can be for the regions only. That way we can establish the rankings. It is hard to rank people. There has to be a way to do it. What do you guys think about this? If so, I will hold the Division 3 tourney!!

What about taking the annual tournaments held every year in an area and using those to grade the rankings. I know in the South there are four major tournaments held each year, Get a Grip in S.C., the Battle of the Giants in Albany Ga., Florida State Championships in Jax., and the Battle at the Beach in Destin Fl. You get an average of 150 entries at least into every one of these tournaments. You definately can't forget Nat's either........ Just a thought.

I didn't want to short anyone, so I went to the event results page on the AAA site and got the numbers for last years tourney's.....
Get a Grip.. 225 total entries.
Battle of the Giants.. 195 total entries.
Battle at the Beach.. 140 total entries.
Florida States.. 174 total entries.
The average is 183 entries.

Willie thats a good Idea but what about the nationals I thought that was tourney for the rankings, or the Worlds for that matter and who ever doesnt show up doesnt get ranked.

I said it before and ill say it again.
each state needs a a championships event. that only residence of that state can compete in qualifying them for the regionals and that qualifying them for a huge cash payout at nationals.
this is the type of structure people seem to over look and i believe it is desperatly need if we want to generate enough cash to payout and make it worth the time and effort. however this will only work fully and properly with complete unification

Sounds good Ryan, but one of the biggest problems would be the greatly reduced numbers @ nationals then

In my opinion, there should be a tourney held for each region to establish the rankings. Nationals is a nice thought, but the problem is there are people from all over the country there. We could make it easy, and just have a regional event. You must show up to be ranked. That will be the simpilest, and the most fair way to do it. I am going to set up a Division 3 regional event, and get our division established. I guess the other divisions can do it if they want!!

That sounds awesome Willie!!! We should all come to an understood agreement on what states are in what region. And if people don't show up or whatever then they can't be ranked. And what weight classes would we use

The regions and Division are already established. The weight classes are established also, I think. Lets get it on!!!
