12 seems a bit high. If every promoter had 12 events a year, I think you would have a small showing compared if you had 4 or 6. It would leave more training time and planning on what event you wanted to go to. Also some promotors are not looking at what dates other people are having tournaments. For example. May 6th in VA. yet There is a tournament the same day up in CT. And looking at the banners they have another a week later on the 13th. Thou, I do understand not everyone can go to a tournament on a certain date and may be able to at a later one which could have some benefits of having more...

I agree this month does have alot of tournaments......we go from very few to alot of tournaments in a short period of time which makes people choose.
but as promoter I would like to have at least 4 tournaments a year...as a puller i used to go to about 6 to 8 a year.

Ryan that number depends on how wide a loop you are willing to throw. If you stay in a relatively small area then about 4-6 if you go state wide then about 8 to 12 depending on the size of the state. We normally do about 34 events per year but one year we did 54 ;D

I agree with Chris...4. If you have the money and the time go for 12. It's hard to put on tourneys and ask pullers to come with there pockets don't run deep at all or all year. Many pullers gear up for both AAA and USAA Nationals. Now add the Triple Crown, its going to be hard to find 12 events. If the triple Crown is a success, Leonard can lock down May, Karen is June and Denise is August. That's going to be tough to put on a tourney around those major events. Granted you can get alot of local pullers nearby and still put on a soild tourney. Here in Florida, we had and going to have atleast 3 this year. Coletti's tourney that was held in Crestview, Charles Warmack and myself for Battle at the Beach taking place in Destin/ Fort Walton Beach in July, FLA. STATES held at Jacksonville in Dec... There is talking going on maybe pulling atleast 2 more on before Fla. states. Late August and October. Hopefully it works out for you Ryan. Go get 'em.

There is the Mustafa event on the 6th, Chris' tournament on the 13th. There is no other event in Ct. in the month of May. It was moved to June, due to the high volume of events this month.
