ChristinaCasto post---As for the call on sonny, he did try to stop a pin by throwing the shoulder in and his shoulder touched the pad. There was the comment by someone that they had never heard of this and I told them that it is in the AAA rules and they said "then Sam should have mentioned it when he was going over the rules", Which is true. The other thing is when someones arm came off the pad then they should have stopped the match and restarted with a foul. When they were telling the guy to get his elbow back up onto the pad, because Doug Allen was shoving him off the back, that is when he got it broke.
Hmm,That is a rule that never gets brought up in tournaments in the beginning when going over the rules? I think Leonard and Denise have their rules at there events for everyone to have? Wait i could be wrong? But i know somewhere someone puts out the rules so everyone can get a copy! Being in charge of a tournament do you have to go over every single rule? Or just major ones? So thats how the Doug Allen match went with Dave? Was Dave in a break arm position?

Shane, when I talked to Betty, she said they had used those brackets for several years and that she was used to them, it was the other persons running the other tables brackets that were new and hadn't ever done any kind of brackets, so then Betty was trying to keep up with hers and correct the others. I was told that the other 2 running the other brackets would write down the winner and weren't putting down the losers on the losers bracket sheet, now imagine trying to fix that after several rounds, during all the correcting is when all the mix ups came about, Sam & Betty were both very sorry that it happened, and will have it corrected for next year (as I stated on another post), OH State has been a awesome tournament for years, I've heard it said, that it's almost like a mini nationals with the level of pullers that show up, let's try to keep it that way Christina, I thought about that every time a team member came to the table, problem was they didn't have many other refs to come help out that weren't on a team as well, that's why I ended up reffing to start with, and if people know me very well, they'd know that I'd foul out my own brother if he committed them
