Has anyone ever tried getting sponsorship or support from the local government orstate government? I sent a few more emails. Just wanted to hear what you guys have to say.

Try a State College also. They sometimes have funds for local non profit groups & organization. Contact someone in administration, maybe they can direct you in the right direction!

Ryan, I already went to LSU about this very thing and they will not help unless you are affiliated with them through an administrative avenue. I am working with Jerry Stovall (former LSU head football coach) with BRSF and he has many connections. If he can't get LSU to do anything I don't know who can. However, I have not tried Southeastern in Hammond. Give them a shout...it may pan out. Let me know what you find out.

Allen, you can also talk to any Allumini or graduate of the College as the too have the inside track.

Ryan, Talk to Hal Pittman (I'll get you a number) He used to run a series of Tournaments in the collegiate ranks, and probably has contacts still.

Ryan have you tried going before the board of your local chamber of commerce nad sell them on the idea of the income a tourney would bring. like hotel rooms, meals, gas and etc. just an idea
