I am conducting a benchmarking study on my 3 new friends.
I am asking for links to video footage or advice on how to pull against these gentlemen. Please post here or contact me through a private message.
Any analysis or insight on how to pull against myself, well, you can kindly keep that to yourself.
Kindest regards.

Heres some advice Mr Hutchings, get into a hook with smith and youre gonna be in a world of trouble, so for youre sake try not to go there, James Smith will win this class, sorry todd, jmo.

Are you crazy if he hooks James, Mr. Smith is in a world of trouble. Have you not seen him beat James before the match lasted maybe a second? ? SC=Success like I said.

interesting match ups as all 4 prefer to hook or be inside anyhow ( I think) But if you base it on history, and who has bigger wins, Todd H takes this. But, you never know with this caliber, all very good pullers! I just want to see it as a fan.

When is this happening? I thought Smith and Vigeant were 198's? Isn't Hutchings heavier now?

When the ref says "Go" you pin them. This is quite possibly the best advise I have ever given.

Jim I believe you are partially correct about all 4 preferring the inside, but I think the only one who can stay with Todd on the inside is Sylvain, (maybe). I don't believe Smith lasts more than 7 seconds on the inside. But to Smith's credit, he will toproll almost anyone in the U.S. in his weight class, and you never see his hand being taken. So Todd I am not even a novice armwrestler, but my advice would be to attempt go inside with Smith. He may even go inside with you in the first match but after that he will try to toproll, if he still has a hand. You may even be able to catch his toproll hit, (although Vigeant hasn't been able to) and if you can do that, then it's over. I say all that to say that I will be routing for James Smith, but I believe this is yours to lose.
I don't think Rob can stay inside with you and if you both try to top roll, (which I suspect he would) it will go to the straps. I am afraid if you tried to go inside while he is going outside you may have to go to his side of the table to get inside so just go up top and slip. With NAL rules placing you in the straps for the remainder of your matches, you side pressure through him, fairly quickly I would suspect.
I don't think you would toproll out of Sylvain's hand so I would see these being all fairly long hook matches, which I would think if you get him first then it could present a different set of problems for the finals.
James has easily beaten Rob in their few encounters, by taking his hand, which I would suspect him to do again. If he doesn't I still believe James would win in a hook match.
I don't know what a Vigeant v. Perron match would look like. I would suspect V attempts toproll and maybe gets it first match. After that hook matches all to Perron.
Predictions
Hutch vs. Smith 2-0 Hutch vs. Perron 2-1 Hutch vs. Vigeant 2-0
Smith vs. Perron 2-1 Smith vs. Vigeant 2-0
Perron vs. Vigeant 2-1
These are all assuming 1st round matchups.

Arm tv should have footage of them Todd. I just don't know which movies. Which you have pulled James before so you got a good idea about him its the other two you need more footage on isn't it?

My first pick is Todd Hutchings for obvious reasons. Mr. Hutchings is wise enough to know why the other 3 are in it though. So......my pick for the upset is Rob Vigeant, Jr. I think he has the endurance to survive this "hook fest."
You can catch Rob pulling Mike Selearis on Arm TV...January 2007 at the CT State Championships.

I don't think Rob had as much Endurance as Todd though an Todd is stronger also.
