I do think tuna and other fish would be the best protien source for cutting weight. Not everyones body is the same but for me years ago when i dieted i lost the most fat when i ate the tuna.Fish has the omega fatty acids

Well i try to maintain no more than 12 pounds over my target weight. a month out i will take two weeks to lose about 5 pounds just by increasing protein and lean cuts and at the same time reducing calorie intake and doing more circuit training in the gym at faster pace. two weeks out i maintain a weight about 7 or 8 pounds over until the last couple of days. i reduce fluids and eat only raw veggies and tuna and a little fruit in the morning then the last day is nothing at all. It has seemed to work for me. This only works if the weigh in is the day prior. if its a same day weigh in the most i will attempt is 5 pounds max

oh yeah and im a "juice plus" junkie. This stuff really keeps my natural energy levels up especially when abusing my body by not eating and for healing properties

Juice Plus, thats what Allen Fisher sells correct? For those of you who do cardio. Is it best to keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone(65%THR) or cardio zone(80%THR) or go for broke and go as hard and fast as you can. Whatever your answer do you lose muscle mass?

Yeah allen got me on juice plus. if allen fisher does it then i try to do it. THat guy is a monster with endurance and strength his nutrition is perfect and i would be stupid not to copy what he does. THE DUDE IS OVER 50 and is on top of his game I keep a bit higher THR like 75-80. Its beneficial to me. The only cardio i do is by reducing rest time in between sets or circuit training i hate running or anything close to it

Just running on the treadmill for 45 to 60 min I could cut 7 pounds. I would go from 189 to 182. I have a friend that can cut 10 lbs. But bodybuilders will tell you to walk at a slow speed with a slight incline so you don't cut muscle mass.

Jake
I got a buddy who roles between 3 and 4 percent body fat. Like you he's a pretty yoked up dude. He runs like hell 5 to 6 days a week. He doesn't seem to lose any muscle and he's a tore up from the floor up 185. But he can drop quite a bit of water weight in one 5 mile run.
