Is going to the PAC Tournament and winning a world title the same as going to worlds and winning one? which tournament would you move up higher in the rankings or does it matter?

For the InTheHook.com rankings, what matters more is who was at the event. If you do well in a class that is stacked, it will have an effect on rankings. The PAC worlds are particularly useful when developing the InTheHook rankings because they feature many of the top pullers from the US and Canada. (The InTheHook rankings cover Canada, the US, and North America.) However, I would think that the WAF Worlds would be particularly useful to help determine Engin's World of Armwrestling rankings, as he does World rankings.

i use all kind of best events for my rankings.it can be WAF,EAF,ZLOTY,MOHEGAN,NATIONALS or Supermatches or some other Major events. there were about 15 World Champions in this year's Murat Boyraz International event, also a few thousands spectators at the best place of one of the most beautiful city in the World.we had Sweden,Bulgaria,Russia,Usbekistan,Azerbaijan,Georgia,Greece and Turkey.but i can not call it a World Championships.i wish i could, maybe a World Cup but not a World Championships.next year it will be much bigger and better but it still will not be called "World Championships",for it would be very unfair to near a thousand of pullers from near 50 countries who are training their ass off to win World Titles at where the armwrestling countries have decided to meet to see who is the best in each category. this year Zloty Tour will probably be at it's toughest ever with about 15 powerful countries but in my opinion it will not be a World Championships either as the organisors call it "WORLD CUP",not "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS". i respect these events very much, and for sure Zloty and Mohegan are the toughest and the best "Pro Championships" in the World.but still does not have enough money in it to be called "PRO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS".the amounts of the prize money in these events are not enough to receive this recognition by the majority of the armwrestling world.the World is not in Eastern Europe, neither in N.America.it is only at wherever the World of Armwrestling decides to be,unless you put in enough to bring the most of the best armwrestlers in the "World" that recognises these events as Don King's boxing organisation has been recognised. the results of Mohegan Sun effected the rankings that i make at www.worldofarmwrestling.com it surely was a breath cutting event! esspecially the heavies as always

there will be a few more changes very soon(because of Mohegan Sun).then WAF and ZLOTY will probably do the last changes of 2007 World Rankings.
