The 209s, 231s, 232-up are AAA classes.
The IAF has never run these classes, as far as I know.

9 to 13 for kids is not a good class. Too much difference in ages. Just my opinion !!! Got your message and will get back to you

What I use & what seems to work out for the best is the 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 & an open Teens class!!

I have tried to take my kids to tourneys in the past few years and it has been hard to find one that does the ages so that it is somewhat equal. kids change so much from year to year that it is hard. this has been the best age break down i have seen . Youth divisions $10 entry Age 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10 11-12 boys, 11-12 girls 13-15 boys, 16-18 boys (2 weight divisions per age group) TEEN GIRLS- 3 weight divisions based on entries
Trophies awarded to the top 3 winners, all children receive an award regardless of placement. Free shirt with entry fee.
this has been used by other directors

Just want to update people on a few things. Today a local newspaper ran an article about my nephew and the upcomming tournament. It was a front page article. There will also be a local news channeldoing a story about the upcomming tournament on dec. 7th. We are getting a lot of good coverage and free public notice for this event. I hope this helps to make this event a success.
