I move the thread to here. Hey Engin, If all those guys from their respective classes from your hall of fame are in their primes had a tournament, who gets top 3 in your opinion? So hard to choose, diff time periods and all For me that would be very hard to pick. As sport grows competitors get better Training, nutrition, supplements. Take the sport of running. Its easy to know who would of run 100 meter race from one time period to another. Just look at the time. BUT think about how fast the fastest guy back in the 1950's would of been able to run if he had trained with todays technology.

Agreed Bob, but given as it is, the time frame you have is the time frame you have and those are your surroundings, I still believe those guys would be very competitive today if you put them in a time machine in their prime and send them over

I agree, If we could take Cobra or Dave Patton from there prime it would be very exciting to see them pull Rustam. BUT I think Rustam would win.
Best of all Time

all of these men are very special armwrestlers.we can write a book about them.
Dave Patton; surely shook the lightweight Armwrestling between early 80s and mid 90s.he always applied his way from the start and won his matches by giving some armwrestling lessons.General Patton was the Babayev of his days and will always be rememberd as one of the greatest armwrestler ever.
Jerry Jannings;he had been unbeatable for many years in the light weight World.he has a 5-7 record against Dave Patton who was the king of light weights.Jerry was known with his great endurance (minutes long matches against Ray Patton and Dave Hicks in 1990 WAF).he won 1988-89-90 and 1992 WAF worlds very convincingly.
Taimuras Tschakilov;with the 8 Waf titles that he won in 4 different weight classes Tschakilov has surely been one of the best armwrestler ever.from 1996 to 2002 he went undefeated except he lost to myself in 1999 EAF Championships twice.then in 2002 Gashevski and in 2003 Rustam Babayev have defeated this incredible puller.but many (including myself) believe that he should have been the winner of 2003 EAF where he lost to Babayev after some created fouls.
Rustam Babayev;most succesful lightweight ever.armwrestling is getting harder and harder every year and i am a living witness of this.and this young man from Ukraine has been winning for none stop 6 years.even though the things are getting harder and harder he has been winning easier and easier.my hat is off for Rustam Babayev.
Tzvetan Gashevski;he is one of my all time favorite armwrestler.he has everything that one can look in a best armwrestler.very good genetic, intelligence, experience, capability, well roundness, speed and power.this man has won 10 EAF titles and beat almost every single best light weight that he has faced.
Andrew Cobra Rhodes;one of the most charismatic armwrestler ever if not the most.he has an incredible hand strength&control, very good speed, intelligence and a perfect move.he is the only American puller who shook the lightweight armwrestling World in old and new armwrestling level by winning WAF in 1989-1991-1992-1993-1999 and 2000.his name will never be forgotten without any doubt.

thank you guys,it was only a short cut.these guys deserve pages of infos about their personalities, results, high lights, tecniques and trainings for each of them inspired the champions of today.i plan on writing a thick book of armwrestling legends, history, tecniques and trainings but i would like to focus on my trainings, goals and organising some pro events for now.armwrestling deserves to have it's own book,we are getting more and more popular day by day and being accepted for the 2008 World Games as demonstration sport is a proof of this.next step should be a permanent part of this event and becoming an olympic sport soon.
