Based on the room rates and this years flight pricing, with entry fee and uniform included, I think the total cost per person will be about $1000.00 for the whole time. Plus food and bev. That has to be the cheapest Worlds in a long time. Better be training hard.

Bob I am curious as to what a flight is going to cost you? I always fly out of buffalo to any tourny in the usa cause its a huge savings for me. And for me to fly from toronto to Kelowna next year wont' be under $650.. its expensive to fly in this country. I might have to drive to Buffalo and fly from there again to save.. It will be a great time for all. Keith always puts on great events and with this being the worlds he will go far beyond anything he has done. The hotel he has arranged is georgeous and the area is breathe taking. And as Jaime said we know how to party so no one has to worry about that when we are all finished our training and kickin butts at the table. I know USA will have a full team and so will Canada.. I just can't wait to see the teams from the other countries..

Copied from Worldofarmwrestling.com Together in Arms – Together we Build – Together we Promote WAF World Championship 2008 "Dear Fellow Supporter of Armwrestling If you haven’t heard it yet, the World Armwrestling Championship will be held in Canada in 2008. The 2007 World event in Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria had close to 1500 competitors/entries. In Canada, we expect this many or more people to attend. But we need your help. We want to get the word out around the world to get the best representation from each county. That is why we are coming to you. With your help we get even more competitors excited about rising to the challenge and representing their country. In return, this will bring more competitors to your country’s events, which will bring more competitors to your National Championship. It will be a win-win for your country, our country and for our sport of Armwrestling. I'm sure you are as passionate and devoted to helping our sport grow in recognition and popularity as I am. With your help we will see your best athletes coming to Canada. With every additional country sending top athletes, it truly will be the best represented world championship. Can we count on your support? You can promote the 2008 World’s event in 2 ways: Send an email to all your arm wrestlers including this link in your message: www.MyArmwrestling.com. I would like to see people from this area take home golds. Since it's in North America, the heavier divisions will be loaded. What weight class do you intend to pull at worlds? Are you training with Badger? If not, who, or what group are you training with?
