This may get me in trouble with Kurt, but I have to share this with the armwrestling world. Has anyone ever listened to the music that Kurt Howgate has on when he's training? Well we were training at Kurt's house last night and he had his music on, everything was ok until this one song (don't know the title) came on. Well, Eric and I were on the table and we had to stop, and look over at Kurt. He just looked back at us with the "What?" look on his face. Well he listens to the Rocky 1,2,3,4 etc., sound tracks, but a couple of songs on the tracks, you just have to look at Kurt, and, well you take it from there. I don't know if this will make it to the site, since Kurt is the moderator, but if it does, be kind to him. What music do you listen to? Me, AC/DC, VanHalen, old rock.

I think it fits in well with Kurt's Stallone motif. As for music, I listen anything as long as it's good. And just about every genre of music has good elements, good songs and talented band members. But a lot of it is crap too.

For intensity I like Rammstein - Du Hast. Even though I do not know what they are saying the music part of it is [glow=red,2,300]MOTIVATING[/glow]

I knew this was going to haunt me. ;D Yeah, there are a couple of tracks that I had to fast forward... What can I say, some people have 'dirty water'...some people have the 'eye of the tiger'.... Andy, that is strike one for you....just kidding, dude! We had a great training session, huh? My arms are paying for it today. I bet Eric's head hurts today more than his arms. ;D Make fun of me if you want...I don't care...

Excellent training session. You and Eric continue to teach and destroy my arms at the same time. I will have to prepare for the next training session because I have this feeling I am going to be taught something very new and painful.

5:00 AM? Yikes!
Actually, that would be the best time to train if you are looking to shred fat, with nothing in your stomach.

Kurt, did you watch Rocky at all this week? AMC has had parts 1-3 on like all week. Saw #3 and #1. They are very motivational. That's what my face looked like in the gym that night. See, there it goes again.

I agree with Allen Hester! "Rammstein" is very energy pumping in the right atmosphere. Another along similar lines is "Disturbed".

Disturbed - "Down with the Sickness" Awesome track! I won't even mention the person I know James Retarides that listens to Barry Manilow and Liberaci when he trains...That would be too embarrassing to bring up. But his favorite is, Sonny and Cher -"I Got You Babe" -very intense-

Just because Liberaci and I have the same sexual orientation doesn't mean I don't listen to Dave Brubeck and James Taylor when I train. Unfortunately, I listen to Guy Lasorsa and Pete Milano when I train.

Simon, you are dating yourself back to my time as well. Best of times to grow up in, but I know some that have not grown out of the mullets... How about Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, and Eddie Van Halen, to name a few. Pure talent displayed in these guys. Psycho-Man - Ozzy ....is another one

Steamin Steve Via, and Eddie man those guys could play. You lost me on the first one. The Oz, Alice Cooper, those were some crazy shows, I never did drugs but you would leave those venues like you had just been in an alternate world. I used to be on the floor fighting for the rail crammed in like sardines. Now a days if there are three people in line with me at the grocery store I go nuts. How about the Crue? Man the outfits the ladies wore back then........
