You hear all this "Bush Bashing" and you have to ask yourself, if Pres. Bush didn't go into Iraq how many more people would be dead right now in mass graves?
Garrett, I know you are the more staunch Bush-basher, so I am in hopes you can see this for a more positive reason we went into Iraq to topple Saddam.
On CNN News, TV reports indicate the uncovering of a mass grave site in Iraq. They are dating it back into the late '80's. It is estimated more than 1500 Kurds bodies are at this site. So far the people uncovering the site have found over 120 bodies...all but 5 are woman and children - more to go. According to reports, the looks of the site, they were lined along the edge of the trenches and shot.
This will be one of many cases against Saddam.
I ask you, do you really think, with your own perception, it matters what the media hype is towards Bush? Aren't you glad Saddam is out of power and more of these people are not dying? You could argue that OUR people are now dying over there, instead of just Iraqis. In that, you would have a point, but a bigger picture is at stake...and I am not talking about oil.
(I looked for the story on CNN News website, but it wasn't up yet, so I will keep looking fo it. Or, you could just turn on your TV.)

here is a question.
If you knew someone was about to be murdered, would you do nothing because you were scared they were going to kill you?
Or howabout the 9-11 firemen and policemen that were killed, man im sure we wouldve saved some lives if they had just stayed away.
but for the sake of doing the right thing they risked it.

Well, how did he ever get into power in the first place? Just like Hitler did. He created a following and took over incrementally until no one would dare rise against him. How else does a dictator become such? Speaking of Hitler's comparison - Do you think it was wrong to fight the Germans? Did the genocide he exacerbated prove to be a valid reason to defeat Hitler? Maybe Saddam didn't kill as many people as Hitler was responsible for, but does it make him any more wrong or less right? He had to go and that is that. The documents you have scanned do not mean much to me for convincing.
