heres an awesome side dish for the ones who love veggies it calledPEAS WITH FENNEL AND BACON
4 tbsp of olive oil 1 clove of garlic minced 1 onion small diced 4 slices of bacon cooked then diced 1lb of peas salt and pepper half a cup of chicken stock fennel bulb small diced
step1-heat olive oil in medium saute pan add garlic onion and fennel saute until veggies are soft add the bacon and continue to saute for 3 to 5 minutes add the peas salt and pepper to your liking.
step2-add the chicken stock and cook over low heat until almost all the liquid is disapated and the peas are tender. adjust your seasonings and serve hot
