saw a midnight preview last night. This should make a ton of money!! I loved it. Batman is back. They completely disregarded the other batman movies and started fresh.
The way that it ends def. tells you that they are in this for more than one movie.
AWESOME!!

i just watched batman begins and id have to say scarecrow was a trip.
proly not the best villian. But i was impressed with the story and the effects in this movie.
however the only thing i didnt not like about this movie was the guy who played batman tried too hard to do the batman voice.
otherwise it was probably the best batman movie ever. and #2 to micheal keatan (sp) as batman. hands down better than val kilmer and george clooney
however the way it ended: to me it looked like they were just tying it in with the original batman. I would like to think they will do another with the same actor. However i think they would mess up by going with the same stories and villians as before.

I managed to catch a showing of the new Batman and I have to agree this is a great installation in the series. I had pretty low expectations going in to this one after Arnold and Clooney killed off the franchise in Batman and Robin, but it was suprisingly the 'perfect' Batman movie. I liked it better than the original with Keaton and Nicholson.

I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. The new Bat mobile is awesome and the rest of the movie really did a good job in showing how he came to be. I'm glad we were too late for the other movie that we meant to see that night.

For anybody that thinks that Batman Begins is going to tie into the other Batman movies, it is not. This new movie is based off the "Batman: The Dark Knight" comic book series. The original 4 batman movies are based on a different comic series of batman.

It was awesome. Absolutely the best Batman movie, not even close. It stayed true to the Dark Knight series and had much more of a comic book feel. Parts of the movie gave me chills (in a good way) and I have to say it is the first movie that has done that for me in a while. One drawback, don't take young kids. My son was horrified of the scarecrow parts but I think the scenes will serve as a drug deterrent to some younger kids. That message was loud and clear in this movie.
