Brian, 1500 meters... funny but not far off I was alot lighter than you in high school 185 to 205 depending on what sport and if I had to diet to make weight. The football coach made me go out for crosscountry for 6 weeks when I was rehabing my sholder. I didn't list crosscountry as one of my sports because I didn't choose it on my own. Ran up to 15 miles in practice and even beat the team captain in my first meet. Must admit it must have looked funny for a 200 lb guy sprinting to the finish and passing 135lb guys after putting in 3 miles. Was glad to get out of crosscountry and return to football. Enjoyed running over people much more. But you are right I was more of a weight man on the track team, but did do 110 high hurdles and the 400 as well as being the ringer in the weight man relays!

Christian... I didn't see your list... bouncing is considered a sport by some... I know there has to be an art to it as well!

I wouldn't want to get bounced out by Christian! One word from him and I would leave on my own! Guess the art of bouncing is still alive. ;D

I grew up in Reno where the Trevor Molini incident took place, not sure if you recall this but several bouncers at a local hot spot threw out local star then BYU all American tight end Trevor Molini, a possible first round draft choice.
He was so soundly beaten, from what was alleged to be repeated stomps on his head that he ended up a veggie. Not a pretty tale, multi millions of dollars in lawsuits ensued, with several bouncers fleeing the country from jail time and insurmountable monetary findings against them, the club owner killed himself.
My first bouncing gig I had was at the age of 17 one night a week, (3 in the summer) at a under 18 club in Reno, (the owner got in some heat when one of his over 18 bouncers hurt an under 18 year old kid.) It was worse than the over 21 nights because they did not serve alcohol so the kids would sneak bottles in, and power drink in the parking lot, then come in there wasted and ready to start some trouble.
