Im sure i offend God on a daily basis. We all do.
God wants us to totally depend on him. No there is nothing you can do to get to heaven except be born again. The ten commandments and the law were given to show us that we are sinners. All of us. Myself included. The bible says that the wages of sin is death and that there is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood. We all deserve death and hell but christ took it upon him self to be a sacrifice and took our place on the cross. We must put our faith in that and be born again. That is the only way to heaven. To make Christ the lord of our life. It takes more than just beliveing in God and christ to be born again. Satan belives in God. We must accept him as our sacrifice and submit to him as Lord, God and King.
Out side of the blood of Christ we are all destined for hell. This idea offends people. People dont wanna accept that they arent good enough and that they are sinners. But we must accept this fact. And die to ourself.
As Christ said unless a seed falls to the ground and dies it cannot bear fruit. We must die to ourself and be born again.

"2+2=4 Absolute truth is absolute truth wether or not you are aware of it."
Actually, the anwser is 1. 4 is 4 ones. 2 is two ones. There is only 1. The anwser to everything is 1.

Yes, many experts put Jesus birth around April, because the discription in the Bible is a spring time sort of thing,....tending their sheep at night.....clear skys so they could see the star, etc.
not many people tending sheep when it is cold, they round them up in the evening and put them in a corral.
By the way, my kids and I had a great time on Halloween.... another family bonding moment or Kodak moment... even took a few pictures of them dressed up in costume and had spent a few hours with them the week before shopping so they could get the costume they wanted.

I don't really know what to say to all this...but my feeling at this point (as a person who you might call a seeker, I guess) By nature I have always been sort of a scientific guy. Hi Gary. Just looking to help here. There is a good book called " The Revised & Expanded Answer Book" by Ken Ham. It's about the 20 most asked questions about creation, evolution and Genesis. This might be a place to help you find some scientific type answers..

Ryan, Never said that they "have the same weather" that we do, I don't think we even have the same weather. USA North vs South, West vs East! But we do have Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. ;D

Ryan,
Just pulled this off a travel site for Israel.
Whatever your objective, it's worth noting that July and August are very hot in every part of Israel—especially in desert destinations such as Eilat. Winter months, meanwhile, are mild (50s and 60s) in most parts of the nation, though cold weather and even snow are not unheard of in more mountainous areas such as Jerusalem.
Current conditions: 43° F, CLEAR
Their current conditions of 43 degrees is even colder than it is in Western WA right now.
