Be very careful make sure you have it writing before signing anything...remember when you put on that uniform and sign it's any place, any where, any time. I had a few friends and family members that were promised the moon...they are in Iraq right now. They have raised the age limit to 42. I could go in as an officer right now with my college degree...but i haven't seen it in writing yet.--nancy

This i know yeah and im sure i'll be plenty of place besides Iraq to though since it is special forces and they do a lot of missions i would be happy to go defend my country though and I will take your advice though and get everything in writing. Thanks for your opinion on this i appreciate it very much ttyl. Johnny.

oh my god!!!!Leonard found his sense of humor. That was funny Leonard.
Johnny, I can't express how important it is to get everything in writing. If you know anyone with knowledge of contracts it might be a good idea to have them look it over.
I know with most of the services you can't directly sign up for special forces. You enter as a grunt and go to the initial test to see if you have what it takes to go through the actual training.
I do wish you the best of luck

I would be very careful Jonny. I was signed up and ready to go for Rangers....the whole package. YOU DO NOT GET THE SIGNING MONEY UNTIL YOU COMPLETE ALL OF THE TRAINING. just remember that. Also, the 150,000 is the re-signing bonus for special forces if you decide you want to do it again after your first term is up.
