Cannibal Corpse came through here right when Vile came out and George Fisher took over... I was too young and they wouldn't let me in. It hurt to say the least. that's awesome though.
Do you really consider Soulfly christian? well, I guess they are.. I never thought about it though. Sepultura's music wasn't really christian based when max was still with them were they?

No max found the lord after sepultura.... I think thats why he left the band.?.?. But if you look when he formed nailbomb you kind of saw it coming. I met the Calavera brothers when they came through and was shocked to see how much faith they had. Maybe its the fact that in brasil god is a given, not a choice. Brian PM me with some bands you are into and I will see if I have heard them and Ill do the same. everyone has a band that they like that people dont know of. My favs are Black Dahlia Murder, lamb of God, Kataklysm, Amon Armoth and Dimmur Borgir.

alot of people claimed Creed to be a christian band ,,,,, that turned out not so good. I personally liked there music and alot of the lyrics of their songs, but there was that one song that ticked me off. POD also claims to be a christian band, they have toured with ozzfest, for this reason and the fact that they only refer to god as "jah" is the reasons i threw there CD out of my window due to conviction of having their music. ......then i was convicted of littering And if you have to ask "do you really consider them to be a christian band"....chances are that they arent christian. but see this is what i love....difference of opinoin discussing religion and no one has been shot yet.

I think the question was that they grew up catholic and talk about it in thier music, but now in the states I think that they are more into christianity.

My Fave Christian band is Third Day and second is Dave Crowder Band.... Both really good bands. There is a new band out called Family Force 5 and they are really good and their music is fun to listen to. Check out the song "Kountry Gentelmen".

Ill check out all of those bands. Thanks guys! Wish me luck pulling tomorrow.... I have to go up 3 classes to beat that ugly guy John "Guido" Stanton. I hear hes been working out like crazy and gettin grip-a-strong. By "working out" I mean driving past the gym, hitting on the sales girl at GNC and lifting his third place trophies from shelf to shelf in his garage

Im assuming that "Jah" is only short for Jehovah or possibly the Jamaican way of saying it because all Reggae music that I ever heard that refered to God, they said "Jah". I know that P.O.D. is not Reggae, but they are from San Diego and this city is a reggae listening city.
