Just a quick note to share the outstanding news that Senator Nevers' pro-woman pro-life abortion ban bill passed the Senate Health and Welfare Committee without any Senator voting against it.

Hummmm.. Interesting.... I know what I am about to say is the equivilent of swimming in a pool of gasoline with a blow torch - but to me - I am pro choice..... I have a choice to do this or I have a choice to not. Your being pro life is your choice. Now with that said, I think abortion is used to easily and many are to quick to do this without closely considering the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional ramifications. I think "fathers" should be more accountable and informed, I think that there needs to be reform. BUT I don't think that the government imposing guidelines and telling me what I can and cannot do is right. This is a decision that is painful and private between me, the father, and GOD.
It is easy to say.. BAN ABORTION..... but what happens when a woman is raped......
Just my thoughts... go ahead and fire away....

Nicole - you might want to check a thread titled 5 broken promises of Roe vs Wade - or something to that affect as this topic has been beaten to death on that thread. Bill

Hey Ms Cisco, havent heard from you in a while how ya been? I have a choice to do this or I have a choice to not. Your being pro life is your choice. BUT I don't think that the government imposing guidelines and telling me what I can and cannot do is right. This is a decision that is painful and private between me, the father, and GOD. i agree 100% that we all have the right to choice in any matter in life. But we must suffer the consequences for those actions. I have the choice to be a serial killer, but that doesnt mean i should get away with it. it is the governments responsibility to telll you certain things you can and cant do, its called law ; law enforcment. Thats what they are there for. the law is for the lawless.

um...ok
I respect nicoles opinoins, ive heard her state that before.
the serial killer comment, was not directed at her or anyone else. simply an anology. It wasnt an anology comparing her to a serial killer, but comparing the idea of "choice".
I and anyone can choose to do anything they wish. but that doesnt mean it should be legal.
My stand on what the government should do, isnt soley based on the bible. But even seperate from Gods word drunk
driving should be illegal, regardless of any individuals choice. Murder should Be illegal regardless of choice. Rape should be illegal regardless of anyones choice.
there is an intresting concept.
Rape, Obviously against the will of the victim, is it the victims fault? do we have the right to shoot the victim in head?
dont you feel it is the governments responsibility to defend that woman who was raped against her will? In the same manner as a democracy, as america, it is the governments responsibility to stand up for that child who is being aborted (murdered) against their will.
P.S. The Bible says that "ALL" authority is appointed by God.

did you read the rest of that thread you qouted?
i continued as i thought about it, and came to the conclusion that even to save a mothers life it is not for you to say who lives and who dies.
I never contradicted or backed up on any of my comments.
murder and what murder is is not my "opinion".
