Maybe because I'm currently half way through school to become a Police office or My whole family is involved in firefighting i feel like i should mention the 5th anniversary of the sept/11 terrorist attacks.
So i ask that we all take a minute to observe the sacrifices made by the NYPD and NYFD and its fallen Heroes that day.

I know I have, my sister and brother in law are fire fighters and since that day we have mourned the brothers they lost. It just goes to show there are hereos here as well as over seas fighting for the safety of the USA.

We should observe and honor it just for being American.
I would go off on a tangent about the new "message" about Americans, but I will not satisfy it at this time.
Support Our Troops!!!!

Most of the men in my family were in the military at one time or another.....i on the other hand am a mammas boy and couldnt leave home like that. But i have great honor and respect for the men who fight to preserve our freedoms which give us the ability to remember this day in peace.

The pain was shared by us all.. The end result of the victims and the sacrifices is that the cowardly terrorist-types have achieved the opposite of what they set out to do - they united this country rather than tore us apart.
