Brady's great but I think Peyton Manning is the best (and I am in no way shape or form a Colts fan, Go Buccs!!!)

Some people have tried to compare the bears to the 1985 team, but there are a few key differences: A) the 1985 Bears had many time pro bowlers and/or hall of famers at every position on defense. Gary Fencik, Dave Duerson, Mike Singletary, Otis Wilson, Wilbur Marshall, Steve McMichael, RICHARD DENT etc... B) Their offense was very good. It wasn't great, but Jim Mcmahon was an above average quarterback. They had Matt Suey and Walter Payton in the back field. Denis Mckinnon, Willie Gault (the fastest man in the NFL) and Dennis Mckinnon as wide receivers. Other people have drawn comparisons to the Ravens team of 2000, the differences being that the Ravens of that year had a better defense, though these Bears are good and that was the one year of his career that Trent Dilfer played mistake free ball. He turned the ball over less and played an efficient offense. The Bears this year have been dubbed a "second half team," but Grossman has the second worst QB rating in the second half in the NFL. Defense wins championships, but you can't have them on the field the whole game. If you lose the field position battle and the time of possession battle you lose the game. Yes they are 9-2 and are the best team in the NFC on paper. But like Kenny Mayne says, games aren't played on paper, they are played inside TV sets. Harry and Todd, you guys would happen to be Gator fans would ya? Trust me, being a Penn State fan, I tried to give Kerry Collins the benefit of the doubt for a while too.

Yeah, what's this junk I am hearing about them replacing Bobby Bowden. Can't do that, the man's an icon.

Too much blame and credit is given to the quarterback. The offensive line and receivers that run the correct route plays a big factor in how we perceive a quarterback.

Yeah, what's this junk I am hearing about them replacing Bobby Bowden. Can't do that, the man's an icon. The big issue was Jeff Bowden the offensive coordinator, which he quite so people can finally move on to the issue of who to replace him with. As far as Bobby.....I think he's done so much for the school (and there are a lot of people who feel this way) and he's close enough to retirement that he shouldn't leave untill he's ready. I can't see them giving ol Bobby the axe.

Harry and Todd, you guys would happen to be Gator fans would ya? Canes fan here.....but The Bears haven't had a good QB in a while....like since late 80's I've seen good and bad games from Rex....i feel he'll get the Bears where they need to go. Bears D this year in no way compares to 86....lot of holes in the D....i feel like they'll be in the final 2 teams NFC with Dallas.....and again the pesky AFC...Bears will go 12-4 losing only to AFC.... Thats funny, I just dropped Rex Grossman in my Fantasy football league. I was only saving him as by backup in case Drew Brees got hurt. Picked up Trent Green in Rex's place.
